New month, new appointments!

What do you have going on in June? Tests? Questions? Concerns?

    I met with my dietitian for GD for the first time yesterday. Feeling better about everything after talking with her. I'll be sending the gestational diabetes midwife my numbers every Sunday and I feel really great about the team I have that will be helping me manage my GD.

    I have a prenatal check-up on Friday. My regular midwife is out that day so I'll be meeting someone new but that's fine since it's good to meet all the midwives at the practice as it could be any of them who are there when I deliver.

    Then I have follow-up appointment with the dietitian in two weeks and I'll have another prenatal check-up later in June. I feel like now I just have constant appointments!

    I just had an appointment yesterday, and I’m measuring a little bit larger than expected so they’re sending me for another ultrasound. My dating scan was so late that it’s not very accurate so my due date may end up changing. Otherwise not much of note.

    Had my 30 week appt today, I have been cramping lately and today was pretty bad and consistent. She did a cervix check and everything is still closed up. She asked if I wanted to be hooked up to see if it’s contractions but said I could also just go home, drink fluids, kick my feet up and relax and see if they go away. She felt that it’s not preterm labor and if they’re contractions it’s false labor. Just to monitor and come in if there’s 5-6 in an hour. My next appt is in 2 weeks, and I also have my growth scan in 2 weeks. Then I will be having my 34 week OB appt the last week of June. 

    It’s really getting real that this could be my last full month before baby arrives!! Of course I hope for him to stay in until my due date but I just have a feeling he may come a little early!
