How are you feeling?: honestly really good! Mornings are rough if I donβt eat a full breakfast end get some water in my system (I get really weak where I canβt stand for longer than 10-20 seconds) but if I eat and drink, Iβm good!
Rants/Raves: Last week of school this week, thank goodness! Itβs also so nice feeling consistent movement. The reassurance is so calming.Β

Rants/Raves: I applied for a job for a Borough near me. I have a job interview on Wednesday. I am excited. I didn't want to lose the opportunity to apply for something that doesn't come around too often.

@jtayl962, I personally didn't care for sleep gowns. I know a lot of people like them, but I didn't. I like footed sleepers when they tiny, and the BEST are the ones with 2 way zippers. Definitely no snaps!

@galentine I'm sorry, I know that feeling. π’ My OB put me on anxiety medication last week. My scan was good, but I'm still feeling a sense of dread. Of course, the meds haven't had time to work yet.

@noprobalo Iβm not sure if it helps or not, but I love looking at the baby science side of things. Like, what new thing can the baby do this week. For example, this week, baby boy has finger prints. What to expect and pregnancy+ apps app have baby science stuff in them that I really enjoy. Just a thought.

How are you feeling?: good, pretty uneventful pregnancy so far. Iβm feeling more movement lately but havenβt tried for my H to feel it yet.
Rants/Raves: I am done teaching for the school year at the end of next week, and I am more than ready for this year to be done! We are going on a trip just as our small family right after school ends, which is our first real family trip! Hoping to get some beach/pool time and do new things with my daughter.

@jtayl962 I personally didnβt like the sleep gowns, but also never really tried them. We used one piece pajamas with a swaddle or a sleep sack, then around a year she switched to regular 2 piece pjβs. I prefer the zips!
@galentine My H was also working most of the weekend, but I got to take DD to a local animal park with some friends and their kids today. She had a blast! Sheβs at such a fun age (I think close to yours?) and itβs so fun to do new things with her.
@noprobalo The only thing that really helps me is to stay busy. Easier said than done, I know, but when Iβm busy I donβt usually let myself worry about all the little possible problems. Itβs when Iβm not busy that I can get all in my head and start down a Google rabbit hole of issues... not recommended.

@noprobalo I like to pay attention to new developments and milestones. What new animal will the baby be the size of this week? The next big milestone for me will be fetal viability at 24 weeks! I also like to focus on fun events and dates coming up that do not involve the pregnancy. As for pains, I try to put a positive spin on I have them. My pelvis is sore because it is stretching to prepare for childbirth. My body knows what to do.Β

How are you feeling?: good!!! Feeling pretty normal and healthy. Feeling the baby kick everyday finally! Still feel like I donβt have much of an appetite. Yesterday my son graduated from prek and we took him for ice cream. Iβm sitting there eating an ice cream cone at 4 o clock realizing it was the first thing Iβd eaten all day. I need to be really intentional and stay on top of nutrition because I am just not ever hungry. So weird.Β
Rants/Raves: RAVE!!! DH is back to working at his office!!! π₯³π₯³π₯³ itβs only every other week, but man am I happy to have some sense of normalcy back.Β
RANT: why are non-denim maternity shorts so hard to come by?????? Why are all the good maternity clothes always sold out???? Why doesnβt anyone care about maternity clothes!!!!

I have no idea with my moms mom π€£π€£ she is one of 8, some are half siblings, and I have no idea whoβs oldest. Β I rarely saw my moms family growing up so literally no idea!! Iβd have to sit and think really hard just to remember who they all are. My dad is also one of 8 and just on his side I have like 35+ cousins and 70 second cousins and goodness knows how many third cousins ππ I grew up seeing that side of the family and I still couldnβt tell you the oldest to youngest of my uncles and aunts.

How are you feeling?: Iβm dehydrated and have been in bed mostly the last 4 days. The physical and mental struggle is honestly kind of unreal right now.

Rant/Rave: Due to my HG in 2015 and this pregnancy Iβve had to spend a fortune on emergency oral surgery, root canals and crowns the last few months. I also need a massive bridge to replace a few teeth on the lower right side that I lost recently. The dentist is working with me and charging me $2500 for a bridge and prep work that I should have to pay $5700 for.Β
Pregnancy is very hard on teeth to begin with and then throwing up 3-15 times a day for 9 months and then again for the last 5 months has just destroyed my dental health. Sometimes I feel like I just want to get them all pulled out and replaced with implants.
