I haven't found mine either but I've read it can take up to 12 weeks to find so I'm not stressing out just yet. I've gotten quick reads for a few seconds and I attribute that to our bean being active. I purchased the Edan SD1 Ultrasonic Fetal Doppler.
@bkjade I have the Sonoline B Fetal Doppler. I got it back at the end of 2018 when I was pregnant with DD and it still works great. It says technically not for use until 12 weeks (probably because it’s harder to find), but I found it this time around at 9+3.
@bkjade I have a sonoline b I got in 2014 with my first and it still works great. I've found the heartbeat with all 3 (that made it that far) right before 9 weeks. I think that my uterus pops out of my pelvis early.
@rpreston17 - yay I'm glad you found it! I agree with a full bladder this early and starting low. Also if others haven't found it yet when you look for it you move just a tiny bit at a time and try all angles in each location. I think it's easy to miss otherwise.

Okay so I bought a doppler and I tried to find the heartbeat (14w4d) and I can't find it. I tried for about 10 minutes and then got scared and stopped. Google says it's normal to not hear it before 16 weeks on a doppler but it's still worrisome. I even remeber my midwife saying the same thing to me with my first pregnancy. I bought it to try and ease my worries but I feel like it made it worse.
@kaitcrystalline oh I’m sorry, that is so stressful! I would just put it away after a few minutes and try again later. I’m 13+5 and found mine at 9 weeks and sometimes I have trouble too. Lots of gel, full bladder, and going really low and slow help. But even then it can be difficult to find because they’re so small! If it helps at my 12 week appt (12+3) the nurse was surprised she found mine, and she’s a professional! Other factors might make it more difficult too, like when I had an anterior placenta with DD my first pregnancy.
@rgn12 I tried it when I first woke up and already went pee so I'm mentally attributing it to that. I think I'm still going to wait though until my appointment on June 14 since it will make my anxiety worse if I still can't find it.
