Cramps/round ligament pain

Checking in at 15+2, starting Friday I had what I thought was round ligament pain. I just started popping out so didn't pay it much mind. The ach, pain continued constant thru Saturday. So of course I start googling that night and drive myself nutty. Come Sunday, it's a pretty bad pain that no position helps. Walking was miserable. No bleeding or any other symptoms. I went to the ER, they did an ultrasound, pelvic exam and blood work. Baby looks great (thank god) and everything else is normal. So, I'm relieved but still wondering what's going on. I had a partial molar and d&c in June 2020 so I'm worried I'm creating my own problems with worry?? The pain is real. I have a two year old daughter and I don't remember this with her. Anyone out there experience anything like this?? I'm not one to fuss or over react so my concern is, well concerning. If anyone is willing to share their own experience I'd be grateful for the reassurance!! Xo kk

Look into Symphysis pubis dysfunction. Sometimes seeing a chiropractor or physical therapist can help, although there are some PT exercises you can try at home. If it’s constant it’s probably not RLP.

  • Yes I get cramps almost daily I have 8 year old and did have some with her but then I ended up having to take a pill to stop mild contractions at 28 weeks with her so I’m always scared that I’ll have to again even tho my doctor says normal and not to worry that my baby made it to 38 week 3 days but still scares me 8 years later unsure what to do I go to my high risk in 2 days to be seen again to make sure sinec I’m on Suboxone for my back pains
