RLP is now a thing. Not a fan. Thank goodness the pain is over shortly after it starts.

  • 12+3 ~ I think I have what a assume will be my baby bump, either that or I'm just bloated. 😂
  • 🤣🤣 @jenharvey84 I totally am with you. The joke in my house is that I can look 6m pregnant right now but in reality... that's a burrito. So my husband and I just call the baby burrito which it will be named until birth.
  • @jenharvey84 with you as well. I thought the bloat was getting better but I was so uncomfortable yesterday that it followed me into my dreams.

My 5 year old told me yesterday that my belly is so big that the baby must be the size of the refrigerator.
  • @doodleoodle oh kids, aren't they darling... haha

I'm 14w6d and excessively huge but OMG I think vomiting is over?! 🤞🤗

@doodleoodle That’s actually a solid joke, because it’s got depth. The size of a fridge, because you could/have eat the entirety of its contents. Keep an eye on that kid! They might have a future in comedy.
  • Today was the first day that I didn't feel like I was going to die halfway through my shift, I made it all the way through 730. Worried me of course, came home and found hb on the doppler right away.
  • Nausea and tiredness got me all day today. I could hardly get out of bed. Completely exhausted. These feelings make me so depressed. 😭

I’ve posted about this in the FTM thread but I’ve been having RLP for a few days now always in the same spot. Is this normal?

    Hey mamas!

Im 15w,2d and Ive read once you enter the second trimester only left side sleeping. I keep waking up on my right side and my back 😩. I hope baby is small enough where this isnt truly effecting her yet.
  • @sonovia I could never sleep only on my left side all night long.. my achey hips would prevent me from sleeping at all. I HAVE to change sides. You can put a pillow behind your back to prevent yourself from lying flat on your back (which is really what is being recommended to avoid. It's considered *best* to sleep on your left side but there's no problem with sleeping on your right side). I recommend talking to your doctor about it if you are concerned.
  • @jackie_dunny same with the RLP in the same spot, mine went from behind my hip bone and worked its way down towards my pelvis the last 3 days but was always a sharp pain in one spot.  I know baby A is on my right.

@sonovia it's best to sleep on the left thats because of the pressure on the major blood vessels. I sleep on my left anyways and have less heartburn on that side as well due to less pressure on the upper GI.
  • @sonovia definitely talk to your doc, but mine recommends whatever is comfortable, your body will tell you if you need to change positions, especially this early.  Third trimester is more when you need to watch being flat on your back, but either side is safe.

@sonovia What @doodleoodle said! Your body will let you know if you need to change positions.
