I actually really hate bingewatching. I get bored because each episode starts to feel the same. I can only watch about 3 episodes at a time max. The ONLY exception is The OA. I watched the first season (while waiting very patiently for the second season) three times and the first two times I completely binged all episodes (about 8 1 hour episodes I think). Like literally all in one day. The only reason I didn’t binge it the third time is because I was watching it with DH.
@jackie_dunny I haven't seen OA since the first season but it was so good!! I'll have to add that back on my list.. I didn't realize the second season was released.
I don't think I've really binge-watched anything since before my son was born. Now at most DH and I will watch 2 episodes of a show in a row and that's pretty rare. The last show we watched where we more routinely would watch 2 episodes in a row was probably Bridgerton.
@jackie_dunny I'm with you, I can't binge watch. I get kind of headachey if I am in front of any screen for more than like, 1.5 hours - I can stretch it to two with a good movie, but I don't fuck with those super hero movies that are like 3 hours+ long, life's too short DH and I have slowly been rewatching King of the Hill, which I endorse lol. He won't watch Brigerton with me so that will have to wait until this summer when I have some free time!
@mayoduck DH preferred the second season but I prefer the first. You’ll have to let me know what you think. And apparently it’s been cancelled so no third season but I have a theory about this that we’ll discuss after you watch the second season!
Yeah I don't binge watch anything either. Firstly I don't have enough time, and also I have a lot of difficulty finding any shows that look interesting to me. DH and I are seriously out of shows to watch. Everything these days seems just dark, depressing, and boring at the same time. It's like all dysfunctional families, drug use, and people doing horrible things to each other. There's enough of that in the real world. If we are lucky enough to find a show we like, we watch it sparingly to make it last longer.
I bingewatch everything.....mostly at night when insomnia kicks in. Im too impatient to wait to watch episodes. Although my "binge watching" consists of 2-3 episodes. Currently Im rewatching Schitts Creek on netflix.
I mostly bingewatch old shows I've seen a thousand times, and it's mostly just for background noise while I work. I mostly prefer feel good, lighthearted, mindless stuff, since the real world has been so heavy the last few years.
Big fan of all the Great British Bake Offs, and similar shows, Queer eye is nice when I need to cry lol
I also binge watch the same stuff over and over as like... comfort noise. The last one I sat down and watched for the first time though was Schitts Creek. It always made me so happy. It's just a kind show, if that makes sense.
We binge watch everything as well as rewatch the same series often. The current series is MASH but we regularly re-watch Community and The League. We have a tendency to binge watch a show and then by the time the next season comes out, I'm over it... OITNB- never finished, New Amsterdam- never finished. Lol, I kind of just move on.
Edited to add @Marz1pan, I love Schitts Creek as well and it has been added to the re-watch short list. I agree it is a kind show with great humor, IMO.
The only thing we can rewatch without limitation is Parks and Rec, Southpark, and It’s Always Sunny @gingerale87
I’m definitely a binger when it comes to streaming shows. I just started Mare of Easttown. Did y’all see the SNL skit last weekend making fun of that spot on Pennsylvanian accent? 😂

I heard about this skit, but didn’t see it. And I don’t hear an accent in the show at all!

I’ve also recently binged: Good Girls, Jane the Virgin and Workin’ Moms... I don’t get much sleep 😐
