WAYDTGKU: OPKs, CM, PNV
R/R: i don’t know if I o’d or not. Haven’t been doing a super great job monitoring CM, which would’ve been helpful! I’m debating temping next month just to see if I’m truly ovulating. I’m slightly crampy but it’s nothing like the O pain I used to get. I also went to the gym for the first time in a while so cramps could be from that 🤷🏼♀️ Otherwise, I’m just so happy it’s Thursday and the week is almost over. We are driving home to see my parents again as well as a little family get together Saturday morning. I can’t wait to see my cousins who I haven’t seen in 10 or so months.

WAYDTGKU: NTNP, temping
R/R: the heating/ac guys didn’t end up coming out yesterday so I’m hopeful to see them today. Also I totally ended up buying one of the AG dolls yesterday 😂🤷♀️. No regrets.

@gingermama29 which doll did you buy?

R/R: I'm so damn proud of my cat being swoon over at the vet. But they do that with all animals don't they?
More birthday dinner drama is popping up. I asked my family about mothers day plans. Didn't know if we'd be doing anything since they're busy trying to find a house. They'll be in our area Saturday so I asked DH's family about moving the dinner to Sunday but SIL and her fiance are at his parent's for dinner. I asked about Friday and MIL is like "ummm I might not be able to have the cake ready in time but I'll try". I'm tempted to just tell her to take the box of cake mix I have and use that. I really don't f*cking care at this point. But you know what, this would have never been a problem had they just agreed to Bonefish! 🤷♀️ Just sayin'.... lol
CS/Q: Unexpectedly had some EWCM when I wiped this morning. My cycles like to yo-yo haha. Last cycle was 34 days so I wouldn't be surprised if this one ends up being 30 days or less. Temp bump today is likely because I flipped my blankets so the warmer one was closest to me instead of on top. Could have also been the cat on my legs

@gingermama29 fx for hvac people! also debated buying a doll... but didn't. i need to ask my mom what the going rate was back in the early 90s... and maybe locate the 2 i think i have in closet at their house?!
@inthewoods23 im sorry for the continued birthday dinner drama. I hope you end up having fun! (And having cake)
@inthewoods23 Felicity! I’ve wanted her for years and always wished I’d had her a a kid. Ugh that birthday drama sounds so frustrating. So annoying how your day is turning into everyone else’s.

R/R: Rant: can my period stop please? It's not even that long, but it's longer than it is when I'm on birth control, and that's annoying. Let's move along, cycle. I'm over this part. Rave: I am so much more productive on this half of my cycle, so yay, I've gotten so much work done & a fair number of house chores done in between work tasks as little mental breaks. I'm sorting through all of our closets where we shove shit for out-of-sight-out-of-mind for things to be donated; that's been nice.

R/R: My in-law family cannot get their act together when it comes to plans. We’re trying to find a time to gather for mother’s day, and it is 10x more complicated than it needs to be. Case in point, my MIL sent a group text and left off half her family.
CS/Q: I’m trying out the Premom app for my OPKs, but I’m not sure I’m doing it right. Both days when I’ve taken a picture of my OPK it reads it as 0 (when there is clearly a faint line), but when I re-do it a number pops up. So not sure if I actually have a question or if I’m just questioning my competence, haha.
@b_1029 Have a great time with your family! I’m traveling next weekend to visit grandparents I haven’t seen in 14 months and it is so exciting.
@gingermama29 Haha! Which doll did you buy?!
@anniemarie887 Sometimes I feel more tired when I get “extra” sleep. Bodies are so weird.
@inthewoods23 Ugh, that is so frustrating about your MIL. I say you buy your own cake at this point and don’t invite them to share it!
@b_1029 I've got that box of cake... if it never happens I'll just make it myself lol
@gingermama29 cute! Yeah this birthday thing is getting ridiculous. I mentioned that I would check with my family when they'd be in town as maybe we could hang with my family for a few hours, then come over for my dinner and my MIL's response is that she's just giving me shit?? Ok can we not??? I am just so done with people

@beakay8 you know i've never thought about productivity and cycle timing (or energy levels @b_1029)
@abjm0325 are they just planning now? that would drive me bonkers
@b_1029 I feel you on uncertain O. Enjoy seeing your family!
@gingermama29 I hope they actually come today
@anniemarie887 sorry you're still tired, maybe you're fighting off a mild bug?
@inthewoods23 ugh, sorry there's still drama, it's surprisingly tough to get everyone's schedules to line up sometimes. They can't complain though given they're the ones who made it get pushed anyway for saying no to the restaurant!
@beakay8 I hope your period ends soon for you
@abjm0325 I do the same thing with PreMom, I just cycle through the auto and manual options with and without flash until it actually gives a reasonable reading. I've had test lines half as dark as the control, so not positive but obviously not negative, that'll give me a 0 at first and then suddenly it's like a 0.27 after another try or two.

R/R: today's the last day of classes, woo! Also means homework all day, boo! But at least it's nice outside today.
CS/Q: FF gave me dotted crosshairs, but I'm not buying it yet because it's like a week earlier than I typically ovulate, and I didn't have any mittelschmertz, which I've had for literally every other cycle I've been tracking symptoms for, plus no dark OPKs and patchy on and off cm. Gonna keep an eye on temps the next few days and see. I hope I didn't O yet because we haven't gotten in any sex yet with both of us having busy schedules and me figuring on this being the start of my FW. If I did indeed O, then that's super frustrating because I only ever seem to O early in months when we don't get any sex in then and it's annoying.
I'll be back for tags!

R/R: Work is kind of a mess right now. Lots of internal drama. I'm not involved in it, but it makes me question if I want to stay here. Rave-- We went to visit our friend's new restaurant last night and it was so fun. Our good friend is Pakistani and married a guy from there. He moved here four years ago after they married. His dream has been to open a restaurant and he finally did it! Well, he opened a restaurant at the mall food court. I am so proud of him though. He is such a hard worker and it just feels so awesome to see him going after his dream.
CS/Q: Nope. Just patiently waiting. My estrogen level looks like it is rising on the Mira monitor, so that makes me hopeful!
@b_1029 I’m using correct strip option (pretty sure anyway) and doing the automatic. Maybe I need to try a different room to get better lighting?
@anniemarie887 Yes! I am a planner so I would have planned this weeks ago if it was up to me. My MIL wants to be all “go with the flow” but really it just makes everyone stressed out.
@fantasyflyte Glad it’s not just me! I’m sorry your chart is being annoying and hope you get clarity soon.
@kgg2241 Work drama is the worst. That’s awesome about your friend’s restaurant though!
@gingermama29 I fully support your AG decision!
@anniemarie887 Okay for real, what does it take to actually feel well rested?? I am the same right now. I sleep 8 hours and still feel exhausted.
@inthewoods23 Awe, good kitty. I can tell you for sure that they don't say all animals are cute. No one, including the vet, never tell me my dog is cute and it makes me sad. My cat gets all the love though.
@beakay8 I hope your period stops soon. It is so annoying when they drag out. And good job organizing your closet. I love doing that stuff. It always feels good.
@abjm0325 I have a hard time with Premom too. It always gives me super low readings when it looks darker to me in real life. I can't get it right.
@fantasyflyte YAY! Last day of classes. That's awesome. Fx you didn't O yet and the timing works out.
Speaking of OPKs... are Wondfos still a thing? They used to be really popular and seemed like what most people used. I have been using them and I am starting to wonder if they aren't as good anymore. What brand is everyone using now?
@anniemarie887 LOL I feel that.
@abjm0325 I've always used the Premom app to manual take photos. I've had near positives give a 0 reading
@anniemarie887 haha we did take out Bonefish last weekend so I'm good. NGL though I'm so salty and annoyed these days I'm basically going to want to have dinner, open the few gifts I'll have and go home.
@fantasyflyte I bet FF will drop the CH if your temp drops down again. I mean it isn't wrong that you've had 3 "elevated" temps lol. I'm guessing none of your OPKs have been close to positive either? Hurray for the last day of classes!
@kgg2241 I'm feeling the same about work right now too. I like what I do... but some of the people I work with and just our overall culture makes me sad. Sigh. Nothing wrong with opening a restaurant at the food court! There's a venezuelan restaurant at our food court and their empanadas are AMAZING. Food is food!

CS/Q: thanks again everyone for the support yesterday. CBAD finally showed a High today and MH wants to try a "new method" for HIO so we'll see how that goes.
@b_1029 the body can be weird! I feel like a scientist or something every time I do cm/cp. cheers to the weekend!
@gingermama29 sorry about the AC! I loved Felicity's story - highly recommend her movie with very young Shailene Woodley
@anniemarie887 coffee makes the world go round imo. stress can affect energy too; feeling particularly stressed or anxious about anything??
@inthewoods23 agreed, you should do what you want! it's your day! "be the change you want to see in the world" and all that motivational schtuff. fx for O soon?!
@beakay8 I hear you on wanting AF not to overstay her welcome. productive energy sounds nice though!
@abjm0325 the automatic photo function is my go to on that app. I try to be consistent with a very plain, flat background if that helps at all? sometimes it's a little buggy too. I also use the actual premom strips so maybe that helps??
@fantasyflyte definitely hope you get clarity soon. I'd be surprised if O happened since opks were negative, it looks like.
@kgg2241 sorry work is a mess, I hope it resolves soon, and congrats to your friend! fx for O soon

Happy Thursday, everyone!
@fantasyflyte what kind of cinnamon supplements? I’m interested in herbal fertility supports and cinnamon tea would be a nice addition.
@kgg2241 how does Pakistani food differ from Indian? I’ve had Afghani food (delicious) and Indian but I feel ignorant about Pakistani food. I bet it’s delicious, just thinking about that region. So many great spices! That’s so fabulous about opening a restaurant! My husband’s a chef and he always talks about wanting a tiny restaurant, even a kiosk like at a food court or food truck, somewhere small and manageable with a limited menu he could make delicious. Food business is not for the weak so big high five to your friend!

R/R: I’m trying to do a fashion challenge on Instagram to help me clean out my closet. It’s a different color combo every day. Today’s the first day I’ve done it but digging around in my closet already inspired me to get rid of a few things. So that’s a rant on having too much crap and a rave for just doing something silly on Instagram.
CS/Q: nope, just twiddling my thumbs at this point. I don’t tend to O until at least day 17/18 at the earliest so just biding my time, I guess.
@inthewoods23 I'll put in spoiler because it's long but also likely TMI lol
sometime last month we had a sit down crash course of what a FW is and how we know it's happening (this was his first time seeing bbt charts, opks, the CBAD, hearing about different cm/cp, all that; before we sat down, he seriously believed a person with ovaries/uterus/etc could get pregnant any day during a cycle). then he suggested this new method: once I get a High CBAD reading, he'll hold off masturbating until I get CBAD Peak and/or high/peak OPK readings (I surge quickly), and then we HIO.
I am not optimistic about this plan, but I guess it's basically like a restricted timed at-home insemination? my midwife team is aware of the physical stuff with him so it's worth trying before doing more assisted methods or adapting the one he came up with. he also scheduled his SA for when AF is due at the end of my current cycle, just in case.
@rachelredhead I'm actually not really sure. It does seem very similar, but it is quite a bit spicier to me than indian food. I can barely eat when I go to their house because it is so much spicier than I'm used to. Funny though, he decided to open a Greek restaurant. I'm not sure why.
@chgilmore sounds like a very interesting plan and worth a try. We all do weird things to see if it works. I mean, I wondered 2 cycles ago if AM sex was the answer lol.
Also, I typed this up like 20 minutes ago but got interrupted by DH because he spotted a fern frond!
