Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Wednesday 5/5

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. • well, good morning everyone!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 15/2

    Timing: -5, -3, -2, -1, O

    Typical LP length: 13ish

Testing: now I think I've convinced myself I can test on the 15th (will be 12dpo) because that's when Premom says

R/R: My boss sent us all $10 gift certificates for lunch in celebration of Cinco de Mayo and we're knocking off work at 3:30 today to play Jackbox games virtually together.  It's going to be fun!  We've done a virtual game night ever month or so since the pandemic started and it's a fun way to spend the afternoon.

CS/Q: Does Premom use any special algorithm to determine when you're supposed to POAS or is it just standard at 12dpo?

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 23/6

    Timing: -4, -1

    Typical LP length: 15 days

Testing: Mother's Day (if I can wait that long...)

R/R: Not feeling very ranty today. Rave: Happy Cinco de Mayo! We're having a potluck at work today. I'm really looking forward to all the yumminess.

    CS/Q: Nah

  • @bows22 🙏

@jlbaker08 Good morning right back! I love Jackbox.tv games!!! What’s your favorite? As for Premom, no special algorithm there.

@babyodo Happy Cinco de Mayo! Enjoy the potluck; sounds delicious.

    Month/Cycle: 16/16

    CD/DPO: 29/9

Timing: not great but don’t care

Typical LP length: 15-17 days depending on when I stop progesterone supplements

Testing: 4 days after I stop hcG micro-dosing, so 14DPO

R/R: I made a delicious leek and potato soup yesterday! First time I used leeks in soups. My soup game is really on point these days, MH loves everything I make.

Today I had to go to LabCorp to get a blood test for a research study I was part of and man... the receptionist there is SO rude. I could use a check in kiosk because I wasn’t allowed to enter any personally identifiable information and it was requesting at least 2 letters of my first and last name. Anyways, getting her to help me was as if she was getting a root canal.

CS/Q: temp started to drop so meh; I guess I’m not the special snowflake that gets KUed right before IVF.

  • @acleverusername my all time favorite is probably drawful!  usually we do lie swatter though because we've got too many people to do some of the others.  after a few drop off, then we start in on drawful   I don't use leeks very often, but I bet potato and leek soup would be really good.  I've been loving homemade broccoli cheddar recently!
@babyodo I really miss potlucks at work!  we've been WFH since March '20 so I haven't gotten to enjoy any potlucky goodness in a long time.

We're one of the only offices I know of that are completely back to ops normal. Most of us are vaccinated (I get my second dose on Monday), and we're a really small crew of less than 20. Plus, we really needed the morale boost. There was some workplace drama over the winter that I wasn't a part of, but my people were, so it's important to me that we get back together now that they've moved past it.

  • Joining in so late today, but better than never I guess.

@BusinessWife I hope things are ok. I was thrown off by your answer to “Testing: Negative” and then mention of monitoring. 🤔 Hope you’re still in the game and that the bloodwork goes well!

@acleverusername Glad you’re feeling well about how things are going, despite not being that speshul 🦄. A girl can dream... Excited for you to get started with what comes next cycle!

@jlbaker08 Happy Cinco! Hope the game night was fun.

@babyodo Happy Cinco, and hope the potluck was great!

    CD/DPO: 24/11

    Timing: Not good enough

    Typical LP length: 13ish

    Testing: N/A, miserably WFAF

R/R: Rant: I’ve felt horrible and exhausted yesterday & today, feel like I’ve done nothing but attend work meetings and sleep in between. I’m weaning down off prednisone since I’m obviously not KU, and the weaning sometimes feels like the flu. So here I am. Ok, end rant. Going to try to salvage the day by getting in an evening walk or yoga before bed.

    CS/Q: Temp drop of doom

  • Thanks @acleverusername one can hope!
@keikilove Sorry this wasn't your cycle.  No, I still have to go in for beta though before I can officially stop meds.  Since logistics are going to make it hard to make the morning monitoring hours / location, the nurse sent me a slip I can bring to an outside place that will be a little easier to make happen.  Which would probably only work anyway on the odd days when it's bloodwork only and not scan?  So.  At least that's something.  Hopefully it's not too crowded.
