Re: Monday BF 4/26

  • Went to Trader Joe’s to stock up our freezer stash.

Forgot the ONE item I specifically get at TJ’s that we’re  out of: olive oil. That store is 20+ minutes away and I was fuming when I realized at home 🤬

  • @sliztee Pregnancy brain is real.

My BF is that I'm SLIGHTLY bummed that we are having another boy,  only because we had such a hard time naming DS because DH and I can't agree on boy names we like.  They are all either tainted or taken.  We have like 15 girl names we like, but literally no boy names. 🤦‍♀️
  • @artsiefartsie I was legitimately SO CONCERNED we would have a boy for this exact reason! I LOVE the name Arlo, and just know I wouldn't find another that I felt the same way about. Dodged a bullet!
  • @sliztee I have the exact same concern 😂 I wouldn't mind another son, but naming would be SO MUCH easier if it's a girl. We need to choose french names for family reasons and we each collectively don't want like 95% of french boy names

Maybe we can have a group brainstorm!!

@artsiefartsie @slitzee @marbellie What is it about boy names that makes them so hard? DH and I have had a girl name picked out since well before we got married, so of course our first baby was a boy. Luckily, DH and I ended up having an easy time agreeing on a boy name (named after one of his great grandparents... but I'm not a fan of any of the other great grandpparents' names so that's not going to be an option this time) but I don't know what we'll do if we need to come up with another boy name. Keeping my FX for a girl because we'll be able to start calling baby by name immediately if it's a girl!
  • @mayoduck Same here! We've had a girl's name picked out long before we started trying for kiddos haha
  • @doodleoodle I am thinking of Greek names too. My son's name already is. I'm also really considering Irish names. I actually find girl baby names harder so I guess I have the opposite problem as a lot of you. I have a feeling this is a boy though anyway.
  • @doodleoodle @RoseShadow873 Too funny... we're doing Greek names too! DH is half Greek and our last name is Greek.
