@inthewoods23 @kiki047 you all are the best 🥰
  • @b_1029 omg! I’m so happy for you I remember you from before 💕 I hope your stay here is much shorter this time welcome back
  • @b_1029 ❤️ Glad to have you back in the ring.  Hopefully, it's much easier than last time!
  • @b_1029 Yippee!!! So glad to have you back here with us!💗💗💗 Hopefully we can all get out of here together this time around, and sooner rather than later.😘
  • @b_1029 welcome back! I’ve seen your name before (likely on the TTGP grad thread when I first joined and also maybe lurking?) As others have said, I hope this go round will be much quicker than last time. Do you have a plan in mind? (I.e. if I’m not KUed by x date, we will go see a specialist. Also, did you get a diagnosis last time or was it “Unexplained”?)

@fpb2825 Welcome welcome. I see you’re diving right in with questions. Hopefully you enjoy your stay on here! And that it’s short.

@jlbaker08 welcome! The plastic body parts around the house is indeed an interesting decor choice. Definitely a conversation starter! What kind of puppy are you planning on getting? Anyway, hope your stay with us is short but sweet!

  • @acleverusername MH is ready for the body parts to go back to the office, but he knew what he was getting into when he married me  :D  we're planning to rescue a medium sized puppy from the local shelter, my requirement is that when the dog is old and feeble, it needs to be small enough that I can carry it around if necessary.

  • @b_1029 I asked my RE that at my first appointment - if we do get pregnant but then want to have another do we try on our own first - and she said to just call them. I’m assuming that is partially to do with my age but I definitely don’t think you would have to wait a full year.
  • Hi @b_1029!! Good to see you again!!
  • @b_1029 I always wondered that with IUIs. Like obviously you would go back right away if ovulation was the issue. Unexplained diagnoses make me wonder if some REs would say to start back over and come back in a year

@bdee20 Welcome! And congrats on you & your fiancé beating the addictions and being a model for others of what’s possible! To answer some of your questions about where to start, here is the short list (that may still feel overwhelming):

    1) Download the FertilityFriend app to track your cycles. There are other good apps out there too; FFriend is what most of us use here because it’s so easy & intuitive.

    2) If you want to know which supplements are best for your age & situation, read the book “It Starts With The Egg”.

    3) You may want to buy OPK strips & a good basal body temperature thermometer off Amazon. Lots of people don’t do this when they first start out, but I listed it since you mentioned being aware of your age and these tools will help you pinpoint ovulation and your fertile week much faster than not using them. Good luck!

@babyodo Welcome back! It’s sweet to have two great TTGP gals coming back to join us.💗 Although, as I said to B_1029, I hope we all get out of here soon!
  • @keikilove thanks so much
  • @abjm0325 Hello librarian who loves board games!  I'm an archivist who loves board games!   I also love baking, and can cook but am definitely more of a baker.
    *TW All the Loss* #BitterHagPartyOf1

October 2015 - 1st MC.  7-8 weeks along. Suspected molar PG, but luckily just a MMC.

    June 2016 - 2nd MC: 4-5 weeks CP

    September 2016 - 3rd MC: 4-5 weeks CP

RE 1: ALL the testing - 'unexplained'  "Yinz can do IVF or try on your own"

    Feb 2017 - 4th MC: 6 weeks

RE 2: More tests. Still 'unexplained.'  Called fat for an entire hour-long appointment, cried a lot

    Feb 2019 - 5th MC: 6-7 weeks

    IUD - March 2019-March 2023

RE 3:  Repeat all the tests. Hoping to try IVF.

  • @stormageddon-darklordofall Haha, I fulfill many of the dorky librarian stereotypes. I will also agree on the more of a baker! I can cook decently, but cooking meat always kind of freaks me out due to unrealistic fears of undercooking and making someone sick. Cake almost never accidentally poisons people.  :D
