Trying to Get Pregnant

Re: Weekly Randoms w/o 4.19

  • My husband and I are getting our second Covid shot today. Please keep your fingers crossed for us and possible reactions, especially for him. Like most guys, the slightest hint of sickness lays him up as if he's dying.  :D

  • @inthewoods23 omg that's excellent news!! A+ customer service turnaround
@Lisa3379 I am anticipating that this will be MH on thursday. I got mine and felt awful for a day but it was Saturday and he took care of me so...I am returning the favor. fx for both of you that it doesn't feel so bad!
  • @Lisa3379 I got my second shot today, too. Fingers crossed all I’ll deal with is a sore arm. DH didn’t have any side effects after his second, lucky dude. But that’s all for the best because if he gets the slightest cold the man is bedridden.
  • @rachelredhead @chgilmore Good luck to you both, for different reasons!
  • I spent way too long looking at this making sure I’m not losing it

  • 30 days has september, april, june and november...
  • @bows22 at least it doesn't list February. That would be the worst lol.

Maybe the bread is good for the next 10 years?

Y’all... our neighbors are having their engagement party today... they’re super sweet, bought the house in 2019 at the end of the summer, and then COVID, so like we haven’t really talked to them a whole lot. MH found out this afternoon they ARE TWENTY SIX YEARS OLD. they graduated high school in 2011, the same year we got engaged. I never care about my age, but damn, I feel geriatric.
  • @acleverusername SOoooooo adorable!!!!  Is it a corgi / corgi-mix?

  • Hahaha @BusinessWife

MH was really into the show when it came up back in the 90s; I didn’t watch it then. But we rewatched it a few years ago, and now it’s been remastered so MH is rewatching again and I catch an episode or 2 here and there. It’s a really endearing show for us. Also, the FX are so shitty!!!

  • @daisy0322 I will be 34 this year, and MH 36.
  • @anniemarie887 Oh gosh! At the BBQ we went to yesterday, my husband, myself, and one coworker are the oldest in our mid 30s. Everyone else is early to mid 20s, and the gentle ribbing both ways of "You're so young!" and "You're so old!" is one of the best parts of that social group. It's just kind of hilarious.
  • @acleverusername Congrats! So cute!
  • @beakay8 eyyy nice. my grandmother had her second/upper lobe done when she was in her forties I think (she's 92 now) so it's definitely never too late for piercings!
  • @chgilmore I love knowing this about your grandmother. I am so happy I made this choice for myself and then followed through with it. Really slaying the last month of being 32 lol
  • @chgilmore my brain literally can't compute the idea of an elderly woman with an upper lobe piercing. My grandma only ever had clip-on earrings lol

  • @beakay8 @inthewoods23 she's a cool lady! growing up seeing her rocking double lobe piercings inspired me to get my second one while I was in college. my favorite part of the story was that she told her husband that she wanted them and he said "oh I don't know, what would you do with them, I don't know if I'd like them" and then she did it anyway! she just showed up to dinner one night with them in and surprised him xD
  • @beakay8 right before covid hit last year my 2 besties and i went and got piercings, the one lives in NYC, the other is local. so whenever we get the NYC'er to come visit we're always thinking of some unique thing to do. never too old!!
  • @beakay8 I have always wanted a second piercing on my lobes. Not sure why I haven't just gone to do it. I DID however get my belly button pierced in college and did regret it because it always got infected. That second hole would have been a much wiser move.
  • @boymama2018 ugh I have my belly button done - got it when I was 15. I regret it so much 🤣 I loved it until about 25
