R/R: We benched ourselves last cycle due to my covid vaccine followed by infection and antibiotics.  This cycle I thought I would O after my second shot but my luteal phase was much shorter than I expended last cycle and AF came earlier than I thought and now I am on track to O literally the day of or the day after my shot.  So, now we are struggling with benching ourselves ANOTHER cycle.  Not sure yet.

    CS/Q: nope.

@fantasyflyte I am sorry about your migraine.  I suffer from them too.  I can not go to sleep with one without taking meds.  If I do, I wake up with one 100000000 times worse. ugh!

@daisy0322 I think temping will be great for you to get some clarity!

@readyforab I'm sorry. I haven't read much on whether or not it's a good idea to bench when you get the vaccine. Hopefully you'll be able to come to a decision together.

@fantasyflyte blah, sorry about the migraine. Hopefully you'll be able to rest a bit!

R/R: Really trying to be productive today, I have been so lazy the last couple of days. Already starting chipping away at the to-do list so that's a good sign! Weather today is cold so getting outside may not be in the cards.

@fameonmain2 thanks me too! 97.3 from what I could tell looked average for pre ovulation. So I guess that’s good news so far. I think I may pick up a OPK too because before when I wasn’t ovulating it was always dark positive for weeks at a time. Cheers to being productive today! I need to clean my house and run some errands myself.

@fantasyflyte omg Ive only had a handful of migraines but they’re awful! I hope you get feeling better soon!

@daisy0322 good luck with temping! As scary as it might seem, the insights you'll get will be worthwhile! I love learning about what my body is thinking/doing!

@ReadyForaB that's a tough decision to make and a hugely personal one. FWIT, some on here have success being successful after getting a vaccine (not the Covid one though)!

@fantasyflyte I am sooo sorry about the migraines. Sending hugs and peace and quiet.

@fameonmain2 being lazy can be a sign that you really needed it so don't feel guilty about it. Whatever needs to get done will get done in time (of course, if it's making you more anxious that these things aren't getting done, then you should hop to it!)

Month/Cycle: 16/16 (I love perfect square and find peace in this number)

CD: 16 (Ooooh! Another perfect square. I'm feeling lucky!)

WAYDTGKU: Mediterranean diet in prep for IVF; lots of vitamins and supplements and other meds (anxiety management and LDN for Hashimoto's); but a natural cycle in the meanwhile, so the drill: HIO EOD, BBT, OPKs, will also do progesterone supplementation and hCG microdosing in LP.

R/R: Our RE had ordered a hereditary cancer screen from MH given that he has cancer history on both sides of the family and we got the results back yesterday; the news isn't great since he both has and is a carrier of a faulty SDHA gene. So, our RE is recommending we see a hematologist oncologist about this. Not sure what this means... but reading online it sounds like this means screening / blood tests for MH every few years. He's gonna love that given his vasovagal syncope and general dislike of doctors. We also need to figure out if we'll need to do PGT-M testing of our embryos.

CS/Q: Another H on the CBAD today; will try and convince MH to HIO tonight. I figure if we space it 36 hours, that would be almost as good as 48 hours. (We're working with MFI so EOD is normally recommended here.) Will add my chart when I get back on my mobile.

@daisy2230 you'll get to know your body soon! my temps are generally low but I can almost always see a clear shift.

@acleverusername so very randomly I went with my dad to see a hematologist oncologist a couple of weeks ago. This was for some strange blood levels that kept coming up on labs but no idea where it could be coming from after lots of negative tests. He's going for bloodwork with him once a month to keep an eye on the levels.

@fameonmain2 I hope everything goes well for your dad. 🤞🏻Strange blood results sound ominous.

@acleverusername oh he is fine! Was just sharing his experience for YH :) He's had weird blood levels for years that indicated he was losing blood somewhere in his body but the scopes couldn't figure out where. But luckily the problem seems to have mostly corrected himself since his heart valve replacement a few months ago, this was just a follow up from the previous consult request (before his surgery)

@fameonmain2 i used to work in peds- the body is so weird sometimes. I’m glad he is all good though!

@ReadyForaB usually sleep is pretty good at quashing them for me, but not this time. I took a migraine pill that helped a lot, it's mostly gone at this point. At least I'm in the part of my cycle where I'm comfortable taking this med (Nurtec ODT, it's a brand new med so not advised during pregnancy, so I avoid it during the TWW to be safe).
@fameonmain2 nice on the todo list! It's chilly here too, it dropped about 25 degrees F after some storms blew through.
@acleverusername I'm sorry the results weren't optimal, but hopefully preventative screening will catch any future problem early enough to do something about it.
