It’s a little late for this one but I noticed October’s product spotlight (which I was stealing from) was missing quite a few weeks so I lurked other BMBs and found these

I thought I would open up discussion of what products helped or are helping survive the first trimester!

Got a great product for queasiness? A nice brand of soft underclothing that don't irritate sore boobs? Those glasses with eyeballs painted on them so no one can catch you napping at work? Please share!

@jenniferjoy37 Have you considered taking stool softeners (colace)? I took them for most of my last pregnancy. Also I had to use suppositories a couple times.

@RoseShadow873 I’ve been taking Colace 3x a day for the past 10 days. I may have to go the suppository route. I’m miserable. I found some prunes yesterday and munched on those for a bit. But I feel like I can’t put anything else into my body without wanting to throw up.

@jenniferjoy37 It's the glycerin suppositories that should be ok to use. It's not fun but I know you get desperate! Any fibery foods are probably good, I know prunes aren't that appealing. Drink lots of water and try taking walks or other exercise since it can get stuff moving. I think a cup of coffee or tea a day helps too because of the caffeine. I hope you feel better soon.

@jenniferjoy37 I had similar and it made me so uncomfortable and depressed. I went to urgent care and they helped me out. I also had milk of magnesia nightly for a while. I really hope you get some comfort soon

I just threw up for the first time last night after taking my prenatal (here I thought I was in the clear and wouldn't throw up at all this pregnancy). I'm getting more and more repulsed by my prenatal as the days go by. What one are you guys taking?? Anything that doesn't smell to high heaven and isn't a horse pill? Does such a unicorn even exist?!

@magsmcg11 I'm taking Thorne brand prenatal, it is broken up into 3 capsules a day, which makes them a little easier on my stomach, or at least seem to be. The iron in vitamins make me nauseated even not pregnant, but taking a couple flax or fish oil tablets helps me tremendously with nausea.
