Trying to Get Pregnant

  • @gingermama29 I'm so sorry for your loss <3 That's a lot of people even in non-COVID times. Take it easy today if you can.

@daisy0322 Hope you both had a nice few days together! When's his next visit?

    WAYDTGKU: charting

R/R: Taking the last month off of TTC was refreshing but I need to get back into charting. Have discussed with MH & we've decided that if we are not successful by June then we'll go in to talk about testing. My insurance covers the testing after 1 yr of trying under age 35 so June seems like the right time to start if that's what's in the cards for us. Today concentrating on getting back into some healthy eating and exercise habits and also getting some writing done. Hoping to get outside for a bit - it's absolutely gorgeous here today!

    CS/Q:

  • @fameonmain2 he gets to visit every Friday. I’m hopeful that he’ll be home for good in about a month. We will see! Hope you get outside today - it’s still cold here like 65 F out

@gingermama29 Sending many thoughts and prayers to your family in this difficult time.

@fameonmain2 I think getting tested in June is an excellent idea and focusing on eating/being healthy in the meanwhile is too.

@daisy0322 65 degrees is cold?! LOL. Btw, also liked your intro "I don't know what MH does; he works for the gov't and can't talk about it." That's a real Mr and Mrs Smith scenario.

    Month/Cycle: 16/16

    CD: 14

WAYDTGKU: looooots of vitamins and supplements; eating/being healthy in prep for IVF starting in May; and the usual in the meanwhile: HIO EOD, temping, CBAD and traditional opks (cause why not?), progesterone supplementation and hcg micro-dosing in LP

R/R: went for a drive this morning in my new car and it was lovely! No regrets with the purchase. Sadly we wanted to get breakfast at a favorite place of ours, that we haven't been to in >1 year (b/c of Covid) and totally forgot that it's normally closed on Tuesdays. Even though Google says its open! Argh.

In other news, my Oura ring tells me that I slept really well (my HRV was 111!) but I didn't feel particularly rested. So, don't know what that's about.

CS/Q: CBAD is still stubbornly low as are the traditional opks. So, at this point, no danger of O'ing early. Haha. But any day in the next 3-4 would be great! Also temp dropped below 97 degrees for the first time in a loooooong while. That's only happened a couple of times in the 16 months we've been trying.

  • ok back for comments...
@daisy0322 always fun with mysterious gov't employees - i'm in maryland, so used to lots of those
    @fameonmain2 welcome back!
@acleverusername i googled your oura ring, that's interesting! i'm assuming you're still temping with a bbt? and not using that as your temps?

  • Thank you so much everyone for your kind words. I appreciate all the love and support you’ve all given over the last week or so. ❤️

@daisy0322 that’s gotta be so hard to be apart for awhile. Glad he gets to visit on Fridays though; I imagine that makes it just a tiny bit easier.

@fameonmain2 sounds like you have a good plan going forward. Hopefully it won’t be necessary!

@anniemarie887 I hope you were able to get outside and enjoy the weather. Also sorry for AF!

@acleverusername glad you’re loving your new car! Boo to the restaurant being closed though.
  • @acleverusername haha well I do know it’s something with international security but hopefully he’s not trying to kill me 😂

@gingermama29 this has been particularly hard because I am not working right now. I get lonely without adult conversation.

@anniemarie887 I bet in Maryland you are use to it! It’s weird for me to get used to lol for awhile I just made up a job to say but I got too many questions. I just feel like the secret squirrel stuff is so pretentious lol
  • @anniemarie887 love when the work day flies by - the weather was absolutely gorgeous today!

@acleverusername woohoo new car! I hate when Google doesn't have the right hours of operation - that's happened to MH and I one too many times, and then it's like "well nothing will satisfy my craving now"
  • @gingermama29 I’m sorry for your loss.

R/R: Today was our Disney dining day. My first one. It was intense and I’m not 100% happy. I got up at 5:30 am for it and I’m exhausted. Work was awful. Crappy day lol.😴

CS/Q: I am so confused by my body right now. See spoiler. TW- loss

I had a MMC last month and this is my first cycle. Cd 1 on this chart was the day I took misoprostol. I o’ed super late. I have been spotting after sex. I usually don’t. After sex last night I bled a lot and it has continued on and off today. I don’t feel period cramps like normal but at this point it looks like a period. My temp did drop this morning but I took it way earlier bc I had to wake up early. Honestly don’t know if this is my period and if it is, kinda concerned about the short luteal phase. I marked it as cycle day 1. I guess I’ll see how my temp is tomorrow.  Ugh.

@ReadyForaB you mean like dining reservations? Don’t stress about it. Just keep checking because people cancel stuff all the time. I’m also going to send you a PM with a site to help, I don’t know if it’s against the rules to post here
  • @bows22 yes dining reservations. I did sign up for a service that will notify me if something opens. Send me what you know though please! Haha. Thank you!

  • Sorry for the late tags but I didn’t get a chance to get back on here!

@anniemarie887 during a natural cycle I used my Tempdrop for temps but Oura is a good way to confirm ovulation. During medicated cycles I don’t bother with the Tempdrop because everything is so controlled and I get what I need from Oura (temp bump after O).

    @daisy0322 lolz I hope he’s not either!

@fameonmain2 it’s true... our cravings weren’t satisfied. Except for the drive craving. 🙂

@ReadyForaB I’ve never been to Disney so I have no idea what any of that means. Why do you have to get up at 5:30? Why aren’t you 100% happy? So many questions...

  • *lurking from TWW*
@anniemarie887 @ReadyForaB I'm going to DisneyWorld in a few weeks and unless you're going to Hollywood Studios or going during peak holidays/weekends, the crowding isn't so bad. I've watched a lot of vlogs of being in the parks since reopening and honestly, Disney is one of the safest places from COVID you could be (in FL, at least) - they take it really seriously.
  • @chgilmore Awesome!  Have Fun! We are going in June.  Which was not our initial plan but it just ended up that way.  I hope the crowds are still down.  We have two days in HS.
