  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 27

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV

R/R:  I still have not ovulated. Ugh. TW loss.
I am coming off a loss and I know this is normal but I am just getting frustrated. My cycle is normally spot on normal  I know after a loss this isn't always the case but I guess I was just hoping it would be.

In other news, I have been keeping up with my workouts, cut out coffee and alcohol and am feeling great!

    CS/Q: nope.

@ReadyForaB I'm sorry about lack of O; it'll happen. Great job with workouts and cutting out alcohol!

@BusinessWife following up on yesterday's tag: I'm just looking forward to changing my name on the basic things: SSN, DL, passport, bank account. I don't really care if there are some fringe accounts that have my maiden name. YH is a darling for turning around and getting all that yummy food for you.

    Month/Cycle: 16/16

    CD: 9

WAYDTGKU: final natural cycle before starting down the IVF path so the drill: opk, bbt, hio eod, lots of vitamins and supplements. MH is also getting an anti-sperm antibodies test.

R/R: rant -- our power company has been pissing us off for the past 48hours. On Tue/Wed, the power went out a total of 6 times. I have no idea what is wrong with the circuit we're on, but it's always the same 1353 customers that lose power. And it's not like it's out for a long time, but it's so disruptive to be in a meeting and then suddenly the router dies and you're cut off. I had to end my work day yesterday at 3:45pm because I was being highly unproductive.

Also, total I calculated that if I don't O until Day 17/18, our intake appointment with the new RE will line up with start of a new cycle which means that we can likely start IVF 1 cycle sooner than I'd expected! That would be so awesome. So now I'm over here wishing for O to stay the heck away. (Unfortunately, in my natural cycles, I O anywhere from Day 14 to Day 21, so watch this be the Day 14 cycle).

CS/Q: didn't temp today because of 🍷last night so won't share the chart today.

  • @ReadyForaB I'm sorry, I hope your cycle stabilizes quickly for you.
@acleverusername that sucks on the power, and fingers crossed for a later O lol! Are there things you can do to extend O on purpose? Like prednisone extended mine a week but I doubt you want to go on steroids just for that :joy: but maybe there's a supplement or something?

    Month/Cycle: 6/6
    CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: bbt, opks, cm, cinnamon supplements
R/R: you'd think a college campus would have pad dispensers in the bathrooms for when your period shows up semiunexpectedly on campus but apparently not! Also it's cold and rainy and ick.
CS/Q: I guess FF and my initial gut feeling were right on ovulation because my period showed up this afternoon and today would have been 10ish dpo (pretty sure I ovulated overnight so FFs estimate was a day later than my initial guess) and my LP is usually around 10 days. I feel a bit better that my wonky temps apparently were just flukes, and that I don't have to hang in limbo wondering if I ovulated. And that we did indeed hit the FW even though it doesnt matter really because it obviously didn't work this time. 🙃
  • Oh my gosh @fantasyflyte Why wouldn't they not have any pads / tampons!???? 😖 I love those machines where you put in a quarter.  GL finding a quarter, tho lol. Sorry to see you back here. ❤️

@acleverusername ugh that is super annoying with the power.  I hope they get the grid situation fortified for you so it doesn't keep happening!!!  Also fx for earlier O.  I remember having that thought how many times, trying to calculate when I would be seeing the RE.  Happy story,
<div class=" Spoiler">When I called to return to center in early/mid March maybe, first they told me my doctor's next appointment was late April. 😳 So I gulped and said okay, please let me know if there is a cancellation... Le sigh.  Next thing I know, MY DOCTOR CALLED ME HERSELF, just to say hey, and check in, and she asked me realistically when I would be ready to transfer.  Yadda yadda, we did my testing cycle right away, and next cycle we are getting ready to transfer!  Like, more or less around the time that they originally gave me the <i>intake appointment</i>. LOLOL Sometimes things really do have a way of falling into place! ;) Fx it will for you, too.</div>
@ReadyForaB (((hugs))) bodies are weird.  You are doing an awesome job tho with your caffeine and workouts!  I have been good with coffee too, but still yet to find a proper workout.  I'm gonna do it.  I'll tell you about it later. :)
  • Month/Cycle: Treatment 1<div>CD: 6</div><div>WAYDTGKU:. Natural FET</div><div>
</div><div>R/R: omg 😱 I really don't want to complain, but today's training has been buh-ROOTAL.  😖😖😖 I also just realized who our instructor is, and I remember him from a previous role and it all makes so much more sense to me now.  Lol 😂 Sorry, guy.

    </div><div>CS/Q: Nothing exciting yet...</div>
  • @BusinessWife Is the instructor really boring? Or the content? Or both? If he's getting around different companies, he must be somewhat good. As for my O, I actually want it to stay away lol. I need it to not happen before CD17. So far it's looking positive: Day 9 today and still getting Negatives on the CBAD. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@fantasyflyte Ah good that your cycle has shortened and that you didn't miss FW. Have you ever had your progesterone checked? Sounds like if your temps are being really wonky, low progesterone might be at fault. I noticed that whenever I tested LP progesterone, my temps have been really low / close to coverline.

@acleverusername yeah, I gotchu ;) fx O takes her sweet time... As for the training, no, this is all the same company, I'm just being re-deployed.  His calls were boring in the last role, and... Well sh$*sh@w is such a strong word.  But he had the challenge of presenting an *awful lot* of pretty dry, complex content in a compressed amount of time, so 🤷 I'm sure it wasn't easy!
  • @acleverusername since we're both fairly young and haven't been trying tooo long, my doctor wanted us to try for a bit before drawing hormones, but said she'd be happy to do them this spring if we haven't succeeded. This cycle is number 6, so I'm planning to contact her next cycle if we don't have luck this time. If we end up doing testing I'll definitely ask about progesterone because I know I've had one-off short LP occasionally in the past, though my usual is 10-11 days.
