How are you feeling?: really nauseous and tired. I think it’s both getting better and getting worse at the same time
Rants/Raves: so I was on TikTok before and came across a live of a psychic medium. They picked me for a reading! She was using these cards that normally say something like “I love you” or “I’m with you” or something like that. My dad and my grandma came through and they wanted to give me some advice. The card said “be careful what you’re eating, somethings not agreeing with you” yeah uhm everything 😂 just made me laugh

GTKY: what job would you be terrible at? Oh god anything with writing so like an author or journalist. I could never!

Upcoming appointments: My next appointment is the 20th. Hopefully getting the NIPT draw done then.
How are you feeling?: So nauseated, but the vomiting has at least calmed down the last 2 days
Rants/Raves: Just tired of feeling sick.

GTKY: what job would you be terrible at? Anything super structured. I've worked for myself for so long that any "real" job gives me super anxiety. If I couldn't draw anymore I'd probably go back to school and become a counselor.

Upcoming appointments: 4/22 for my second sono/graduation from our fertility clinic
How are you feeling?: Some days great, some days like I have the flu. Going to try starting prenatal barre next week. If i can do at least 2-3 days I'll be happy.
Rants/Raves: DH, I love him so much, he's really been trying to help as much as he can, but his mood swings have been worse than mine. Im like dude, Im the one making a whole human over here, chill out.
Questions:
GTKY: what job would you be terrible at? Anything to do with sales. I hate sucking up to people and Im an extroverted introvert, so too much social interaction exhausts me.

Upcoming appointments: May 4th unless NIPT shows concern in which I would do a 12 week scan
How are you feeling?: Less tired thankfully but still struggling with nausea. I finally got zofran and phenergan from my OB and that has made life livable again
Rants/Raves: Listen I am fine with vomiting in the morning but would really like for it to happen before I take my vitamins and brush my teeth. I get so aggravated with having to redo the whole routine and it really throws off my routine.
Questions: Nope not right now
GTKY: what job would you be terrible at? Accounting - the structure and attention to detail would be difficult for me to sustain.
@jackie_dunny and @artsiefartsie I am right there with you on being way over the nausea - hopefully the 2nd trimester will bring us all some relief!
@chartput my DH is also having some sympathy fatigue and moodiness - I am working on my patience and grace with his process.
Our Journey for #1
2017 -- Discovered MFI but didn't move forward with treatment due to expense and grad school
Spring 2019 -- Started with RE and confirmed MFI
Fall 2019 -- 3 cycles of Clomid and TI, 3 BFNs, discovered hostile cervical mucus was also contributing
Spring/Summer 2020 -- 3 cycle of IUI, 3 BFNs
Nov 2020 - First IVF with 3 little frosties, had to change to freeze all due to OHSS
Feb 16, 2021 - FET #1 - BFP! Beta #1 100 Beta # 2 541 EDD 11/4/2021

Upcoming appointments: beginning of may, 14 week appt. waiting on nipt results which is hard and a little stressful as a AMA this time around.
How are you feeling?: nausea is gone but still super tired at the end of the day. A little hard to have the symptoms easing because that was reassuring. I think it’s normal for them to ease up now though.
Rants/Raves: kimchi on everything!
Questions: is it too early for pregnancy pants?! I’m down to one pair of regular pants that fit 🙃
GTKY: what job would you be terrible at? Bartending. As an extrovert I so want to think that I would love it at a busy local place (pre pandemic and pre-kid world) for an extra gig at night, but my husband is right that I’d forget everyone’s orders immediately and people would be so annoyed.

Upcoming appointments: Apr 19, first real appointment
How are you feeling?: pretty good actually, minimal nausea and quasy-ness. The heartburn and fatigue are the worst and most of my symptoms are late day problems.
Rants/Raves: My husband gets angry at the stupidest things sometimes... usually at my dog and it stresses me out. Then this dummy will get all mad and think I am yelling at him for being mad at the dog (which I kind of am) but I don't get it. So she is licking her butt... do you really want to spend an hour being mad about the dog licking her butt?! I don't understand, I've had to explain to mom that I can't argue politics or news with her anymore because I don't need to invite that crap into my daily life. My day only needs to revolve around my job, my house and how many eggs my chickens are putting out, lol.
Questions: I keep getting these muscle pulls in my lower stomach, like if I stand up to fast or cough. Is this normal stretching and pulling? I don't like it.
GTKY: what job would you be terrible at? I've done a wide gambit of things for work but I know I would be horrible at a desk job. I have never worked a desk job but when I have a lazy no surgery day at work now and I do mostly computer work, I am up finding a distraction hourly. I'm not very productive.
Support bands can help a little, especially as your belly grows even bigger

How are you feeling?: I have good days and bad days. On the bad days I’m exhausted and vomiting. On the good days I’m worrying about feeling good 😂
Rants/Raves: I’ve got nothing. I’m too exhausted to have big feelings lol

GTKY: Any job in the service industry. I am awkward AF and have so much social anxiety. The pandemic has only made my deficiencies worse. Hats off to anyone who knows how to people.

How are you feeling?: Don't really feel pregnant outside of my pants definitely fitting uncomfortably snuggly already
Rants/Raves: Had a long weekend with my husband away that I was really excited about and it mostly went well but my son ended up getting sick on Friday so my weekend was mostly trying to nurse him to better health and he didn't sleep much because of all his congestion. And now I have his cold. Bah.
Questions:
GTKY: what job would you be terrible at? Customer service, sales, any job where I have to interact with lots of people. I'm pretty extremely introverted.

How are you feeling?: meh. I felt like I maybe turned a corner today. I was able to eat lunch at work without vomiting. I got a little worried about how much better I felt, so I snuck a peak with the US. Now I feel like poo again, so it’s going well.
Rants/Raves: when you want to complain about pregnancy stuff all day at work but your co-worker is 26 weeks with twins and doing the same job 😩

GTKY: what job would you be terrible at? Anything where I would have to be told what to do all the time. I mean, I get told what to do by administrators and whatnot, but I pretty much get to do my job without someone second guessing me. Also, anything where’d I’d have to sit at a desk all day...but then again, it might be nice when one is pregnant...
