@vampirina Housetraining is probably the most important skill, in my opinion! But you definitely don't want to stop there. Best money we spent on our dog was 2 weeks with a trainer.
@noprobalo he weighs all of 4lbs so I feel like they just gave up on him as "soooooo cuuuuuuute." Strange because they've spent thousands training their previous, large breed dogs. They certainly know *how* to train a dog, they also are like "meh its small and cute, whatever."
@vampirina Ugh, I hate tiny hellhounds. Our neighbor has a pug who will chase me in the street when I'm out running (but he's afraid of our dog, at least). And we had to leave the dog park yesterday because a Boston Terrier wouldn't stop humping my pit bull mix. She was trying to warn him off, but he wouldn't quit, so we had to leave so we wouldn't end up being the bad guys. Train your tiny, feral beasts, people!
I just finished up my NIPT blood work. Hopefully we get back low-risk results within the week. 🤞
While making small-talk with the phlebotomist, she asked if I was finding out the "gender" (It's sex, not gender, but I didn't bother with that conversation). I said no, because my H wants to be surprised this time. She responded in total seriousness that I should find out and just not tell him I know. I mean..... sure. It's my body and ultimately my choice. If it really meant that much to me to find out, I could do that. But if it meant that much to me, I'd convince him I needed to find out. Not lie. It seems like a recipe for an unhealthy marriage to lie to my husband for the next 6 months. I don't know, it really bothered me that she suggested that. It's one thing if she was joking, but she was totally serious!
@galentine Yeah what strange advice. And then you’d also have to act like you have no idea to everyone else, which seems to take the fun out of finding out?

Not to mention, I am HORRIBLE at keeping secrets. He would know instantly!
Re: Weekly Randoms w/o 4.5
But so annoying to babysit!
