  I just had my phone appointment with my midwife and she is SO lovely! She’s really easy to talk to and made me feel so reassured. I have my blood draw/urine tests later this afternoon and my friend gets to do it so that’ll be fun 😂

  @jackie_dunny that's wonderful! Of all the OBs/midwives I met during my first pregnancy, there was only one I really liked and I've been having a terrible time so far getting an appointment with her specifically this time around. So annoying.
  
  I had my first prenatal appointment yesterday. The nurse did an ultrasound and couldn't really get a good view of the baby but did confirm that there's a baby with a heartbeat in there, so I'll take it! I got my bloodwork done last week after my screener with the nurse so my midwife talked a bit about the results, which were all normal. So far, so good. Looking forward to my 12-week ultrasound at the end of April.

  2 week count down for ultrasound followed by midwife!! I cannot wait to see this or these little beans. Idk why but my DH and I keep referring to this pregnancy as multiples.

  Had my first ultrasound on the 1st! Felt so so good to see the little bean move around and see the heartbeat 💓🎉

  I had my first appointment yesterday, I was 6+4 and not 8+weeks as they were trying to say based on LMP without regard to my cycle length lol. It went really well and we got a good view of the little Bean, couldn't hear the heartbeat yet which didn't surprise me.
  
  Something that she brought up that I forgot was that I was borderline gestational hypertension with DS. She's going to start me on baby aspirin at 12 weeks and they're taking an extended urine sample where I'll have to collect all of my urine for the day in a large container 😶
  
  I almost forgot about that because my blood pressure was only slightly high twice out of my 5 days of labor. They weren't going to admit me for induction based on it, but I begged them to lol. I have no regrets about that one, had DS 12 hours later.
