5ish weeks pregnant and spotting

Hi guys,

I’m in my first pregnancy at 35 y/o and wondering if spotting is ok. It’s been going on since right after I got my first positive test last Monday the 22nd without any cramping but of course I’m worried and nervous. Not too much in my pants, just when I use the restroom and wipe. Anyone else have this? Not seeing many clots but the occasional small one here and there. And I mean very small, nothing like a period. Sorry for the TMI but any advice helps.

    First things first, have you called your dr and told them? Spotting is very common, and can mean absolutely nothing to you are have a miscarriage. I've had spotting before. The thing is, no one here can tell you what's going on. That is why I asked if you had spoken with your dr. For now, I would say take it easy, and try to focus on being calm. I know it's easier said than done. I'm sorry you're spotting.

    Call your providers and see what they say.  I spotted on and off with my first up until 10 weeks or so.  Literally had a flare up the evening we were about to tell FIL at his birthday party... 😬 But it was totally fine.  My nurse at the time said it's okay as long as there's nothing heavy like a period, or cramping etc.  But best to let your own care team know, regardless. (((Hugs)))

    Hope everything works out ok for you.  I would call your doctor and see if they can see you.  They will be able to tell you if things are ok!
