Well, I'll go. Due to timing, we probably won't get NIPT results back before the end of the first tri. That would have been #1, so instead, I'm really really hoping my energy gets back to normal by then. I really want to be able to train for our local half marathon in May, but my miles are way down due to being exhausted all the time. Hopefully I can start to make some progress soon.
Wow! That’s impressive @noprobalo ...I wouldn’t run a half marathon normal...let alone pregnant in 2nd trimester. 😂 Good for you! Hoping we will get NIPT results backs before it’s over. I already have the kit and OB said to go anytime after 10 weeks which will be 3/31 to get blood drawn. But also said to try to wait to 10.5 weeks...said she just had a patient get “inconclusive” results back at early 10 weeks and just caused everyone unnecessary stress. Other than that I’m really just excited for the 1st to be over...not because symptoms are bad but because my OB told me not to work out other than long walks until 2nd tri due to my past loss. So frustrating. Actually with symptoms...the few I had (migraines and tiny bit of nausea) have gone away...so that of course makes me nervous. Still get crazy indigestion though.
@sienna221 We will certainly see how it shakes out. I reserve the right to bail. 😂
I am also noticing symptoms slackening a bit. But it seems it's to be expected around this time. Just trying to keep my brain quiet until my next appointment.
Glad you'll get to work out soon-ish. What activities do you like to do?
@mac-n-cheese Yes, I've had the energy to keep a base going -- or maybe it's just stubbornness and force of habit. But I will have a fair amount of ground to make up. This even supposes the race will happen live, as there's been no commitment yet.
