**Trigger warning** Birth Story

I can't believe that I'm having to post this already.  I completely prepared to go first, but never imaginedit would be now.  So here it goes.  I started spotting Tuesday morning and while I was worried I've heard it can be common for light spotting to happen and it basically went away after a few hours so I decided to take the wait and see approach. Well, it was back Wednesday morning so I called my OB and they had me come in for an ultrasound since I had some cramping too.  I hadn't thought much of the cramping because that had been going on the whole pregnancy.  Between the twins any the bilateral endometriomas there's not a lot of room even this early.  When they did the ultrasound it appeared as though the cervix was closed, but you could see Baby A didn't have any fluid around her and when the doctor manually checked my cervix I was dilated 1cm.  She had me to to L&D to be admitted and watched overnight and the plan was perinatology would see me the next day since it was about 6:30/7 at night by the time I got checked in and what not.  I had forgotten to mention to the Dr at the clinic that I had a gush of fluid Tuesday afternoon.  Both the L&D doc and I agreed it was probably my water breaking.  So I had moderate cramping (what I'm pretty sure were contractions) most of the night.  I was able to sleep some but was woken up with uncontrollable shaking about 6am.  Knowing what we know now it was most likely my body going through transition.  Amelia Faith was born at 8:40am 3/11/21 weighing 60 grams.  She looked just like DD did in all her 13 week 3d ultrasound pictures.  Her placenta did not deliver and I started to have a temp.  Also, I had lost a large amount of blood the night before I passing some large clots that my hemoglobin had already dropped a few points and unfortunately this early in the pregnancy the blood vole hasn't increased enough to make up for that.  The doctor wanted to give citotech to make the uterus contract right away, but we knew we would automatically loose Baby B.  We wanted to wait to see what my body would do first before making any big decisions. They gave me tylenol for my headache and of course it's a great fever reducer too, but as soon as it started to wear off the fever came back.  We had to make the agonizing decision to end this pregnancy. My fever would not go away and unfortunately the only way to treat a uterine infection in pregnancy is delivery.  We had reached the point things could turn really bad really quickly.  Wyatt Matthew Brian was born at 11:26pm weighing 63 grams.  He is just as perfect as his sister and he is definitely our little boy.  Neither placentas delivered so they prepped me for a d&c, but I was able to relax enough with just the anesthesia to pass the rest of the tissue before the had to preform the actual procedure.  I will have to stay in the hospital until tomorrow as they want 24hrs in IV antibiotics.
Both babies were born at 14w6d gestation and fit into the palm on a hand.
Good luck to everyone on their journey to motherhood.
