Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Friday 3/12

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 15/1 DPO (I'm pretty sure)

Timing: -2 (hoping for +1 later today but we'll see)

    Typical LP length: 14

Testing: I am determined to wait until at least 11 or 12 DPO but we'll see

R/R: I just feel sad about the lack of HIO this cycle, DH and I have been stressed this month from all the HOA stuff and his work stuff and I don't want to turn DTD into a chore when we already weren't doing it enough before TTC. It's still possible but I am not optimistic, I feel like I'm just waiting for AF.

CS/Q: when are crosshairs supposed to show up on FF?

  • @chgilmore FF at a minimum needs 3 higher temps. If you're only 1dpo, you should see CH this weekend.

  • @inthewoods23 thank you! I tried to find it on the app's Help page but got really frustrated by how clunky it was so I figured I'd ask some experts :)
  • @chgilmore your question illustrates perfectly one thing I wanted to point out... "Back in my day..." We never used to move onto TWW until 3DPO. That was when you would have cross hairs because FF could observe a sustained temperature shift. That way you don't have to guess, today might be O day...? Etc.
  • @BusinessWife totally get that! my body has always given me clear signals about O (haven't touched BC in over half a decade so I've gotten good at tracking it and I am very regular), I just didn't use FF until actively TTC and I was unfamiliar with how it works as far as how it decides for itself about O
  • Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD/DPO: 17/7 (OR 6)

    Timing: -1, O, +1, +2

Typical LP length: I have no idea. I think around 17 days.

Testing: I don't know. Maybe next weekend, but it feels early.

R/R: It's Friday and it's beautiful out. We're going to get Shake Shack for dinner and I am excited about it.

    CS/Q: **TW**

I'm spotting randomly, which I've never done before (or not in recent memory), so I am a little freaked out.
  • @fifilala516 at 6 or 7 dpo, it *could be* that telltale implantation bleeding, which is a great sign! You never know... If you can wait that long, next weekend would be a great time to text, imho. GL!!!
