I had to post this because if this isn't pregnant lady food, I don't know what is: PB&J grilled cheese with bananas and bacon. Made it for lunch today because I'm working from home. It was incredible.
I've eaten an embarrassing number of Chick Fil A chicken sandwiches in the last 3 weeks. They are one of the only things that sounds appetizing when I'm nauseous. So salty and carb-y and delicious. A chicken sandwich with lemonade is my favorite meal right now.
@galentine There's a Chick Fil A near my office that I ordered from regularly even before getting pregnant. But I've realized that if you order the waffle fries on their mobile app, ketchup is not selected to go with them by default. And if you forget to add it, the staff won't put any in your bag. 😢 Such a disappointment last week
@galentine A chick fil a chicken sandwich is one of the few meals with meat that I've been able to tolerate in about a month 😆 I tried lemonade & still a no on it though
I just inhaled a artichoke, I haven't had one in a long time and it was so yummy, I wish I had purchased more from the store. I also have plans to go get bagels from Einstein's, I want a good everything bagel and store bought bagels are such a disappointment.
@galentine that's me but with wendy's jr cheeseburgers. The only thing that sounds at all appetizing now are carbs (toast and grilled cheese) and fruit.
So far my same crappy menu as pre-pregnancy... a lot of fast food, chocolate, sweets... and still having a coke a day... can’t kick the habit 😞also helps a queasy stomach.

Until ya bite into a big nasty piece of something in the chicken! 😬 but I’m with you on the chick fil a. But it’s that Cobb salad with that avocado lime dressing I’m diggin! 😁
@noprobalo that looks epic! Once I feel up to it I might make one minus the 🥓 (vegetarian here!) @tingsmom a bagel with cheese cheese from Harry’s (I’m in California) sounds amazing! Thank you for the suggesting.
I haven’t eaten a meal since Thursday night until now....feeling a bit better so I had a few French fries, two mozzarella sticks and some mixed melon. Just eating feels amazing!
I've been kind of meh on food the past few days, but yesterday I realized I really really wanted pho, so we ordered out for dinner last night and it was soooooo satisfying.
@pizzaplz That sounds amazing! It's been about a year since I've had pho and I miss it.
I have leftovers for lunch and 5 or 6 freezer meals that I could eat. I'm trying to convince myself that those options are a better idea than walking to the grocery store and spending extra money for chicken strips to douse in Franks. Well, off to the grocery store I go.
The only things that have sounded good lately are Ramen (the $0.15 Top Ramen kind - not even fancy Ramen) and rare steak. And maybe a chicken sandwich from CFA now, thanks to this thread.
I can’t stand the thought of coffee anymore and I used to drink a cup every single morning... also, last night I got my daughter McDonald’s and saw the cones on the menu, like the vanilla soft serve. Haven’t had one since I was a kid... now I want more today and it’s only 6am...
@galentine my appointment took forever today and I was ravenous by the time I was done. I've been thinking about chik fila all week so had to get some 😂
@pizzaplz haha I always think about my favorite veggie pizza when I read yours! my maiden name is actually very close to Mac n cheese with the “n” removed and a “y” at the end.
@mac-n-cheese your maiden name is McCheesy?! That’s amazing 🤣 at least that’s how I read what you said lol
This is exactly how I read this too. I love it and if your name wasn't really McCheesey, I don't even want to know. I'm just going to pretend it was McCheesey 😂
What do you eat when you have food aversions to just about everything? Most of the time I’m starving to death by the time I can think of even one thing I could stand to eat and that one thing is usually different every single meal and usually from somewhere fast food... I can’t go on like this! 😱😳😳😳
@titus221 I have food aversions to just about everything as well. Food never sounds good and I’m struggling to eat enough calories in a day to actually sustain myself. Even chewing is exhausting. I had a smoothie this morning and that went over well!

I’d say I’m glad I’m not alone but I’m sorry anyone else has to deal with food aversions 😩😩😩
like I’m over here thinking about all the people that would give most of their possessions for one of the many things I’m blessed to be able to eat and I’m over here with every food I could want at my fingertips struggling to find anything at all ever that sounds good! 😩😩 and half the time something sounds even somewhat edible and then I get it and I just can’t!
@titus211 same my aversions are strong. I’ve been struggling to eat enough as well. I have been able to drink smoothies so I’ve been packing it with protein, vegetables and fruit to get something in my system. Also soup has helped. Cheap Ramen and broccoli cheddar soup from Panera are pretty much what I’m living off of at the moment
I have a mental aversion to burritos. Just thinking about biting through a tortilla to get to the filling makes me gag a little. Empty the burrito into a bowl and put the tortilla on the side, and I will happily eat it. Is that weird? I feel like that's weird...

I’ve totes been thinking soup sounds amazing but I’m terrified to try and it not be everything I dreamed it would be! Or it be edible one day and completely repulsive the next! 😂

To be honest I’ve also had the weirdest symptom ever for the first time in 5 babies.... I stink! I swear I smell like a taco truck! No matter how many showers I take or what I wear! I can not stand the stench of myself!!!! And I feel like it’s completely turning me off to anything that even smells remotely like Mexican food. Or myself. Especially anything with like onions or tomatoes or salsa or like... anything 🤦🏻♀️😂
I'm away on a work trip with an expense account and I haven't been able to indulge at all!! I haven't had much morning sickness, but of course this week I also got a sinus infection/migraine so I've been throwing up for the first time. Last night I finally went to the grocery store and bought a fruit salad and ate that for dinner. Otherwise I've been living off the box of cheerios I brought with me.
@demimondaine Cheerios!! They’re my lifesaver right now. I also will literally just eat fruit for dinner or just vegetables because I cannot handle the thought of anything else.

Next trip to the store I’m getting the giant box of Friday’s ones so I can toaster oven them whenever.
I have a list of meals from every type of food
