Month/Cycle: 6/7 (I think...maybe 6/6)

CD/DPO: 13/1 (or today might be O day?!)

Timing: -2, -1, O day

Typical LP length: Who knows. I thought it was on the shorter side, like 9 days, but this month has proven me wrong (see below)

Testing: Clearblue OPK

R/R: I don't have much of a rave for today. It's Monday and I didn't get much sleep last night and I am cranky.

CS/Q: So, previously I said I wasn't going to test until next weekend, based on last month's timing and that I had a limited number of strips. We did the baby dance on Friday for fun. Something on Saturday morning told me to test, so I did, and lo and behold - peak fertility, at day 11 (last cycle I didn't hit it until day 18). So I was like !@#$ and proceeded to make DH do more baby dances the entire weekend. But boy am I glad we had Friday!

R/R: I've reached the point in my cycle where I'm convinced this cycle isn't the one, blah. Had a nice weekend (Saturday was my and my husband's 11th dating anniversary!), made a delicious dinner Saturday and still have leftovers for tonight, which yay because today is my loooong day of classes. Also excited because it's going to be warm this week, so we're already planning on a nice long walk together with the dog a couple days later this week.

CS/Q: nothing exciting going on the last few days

R/R: Rave: Got to hang out outdoors yesterday with a friend I haven’t seen in a year. She got vaccinated so felt comfortable to get together. It was great to catch up. Rant: Absolutely terrible sleep last night, had nightmares about this transfer not working and yelling at MH how he didn’t do enough to help this go well.😳

R/R: Rave: Just feeling good today. DH killed the Goggins challenge this weekend (4 mile run every 4 hours for 48 hours) so while it affected our timing (didn't get 1 and 2 in), I'm so proud of him! Chicagoland weather is warming up and spring break is only a few short weeks away so I can't help but feel a bit giddy inside. Also, it's BACHELOR MONDAY.

@keikilove that's great on meeting up with your friend! My husband is eligible for his vaccine in mid-April and me in early May, I'm counting down the days. We made a prime rib for dinner and it was PERFECT (we'd ordered one at Christmas in a grocery delivery and they gave us a giant 9-lb roast so we split it into three pieces, this was the last one). It was like goldilocks, the first one we tried was a little too pink, the second on Valentine's wasn't quite pink enough, and then this was was absolutely perfect.

@misspricklepants it's warming up (soon) here, too. still in the 30s today but 50s and 60s the rest of the week. I'm ready for the cold to be done, I'm excited.

@fantasyflyte don't get discouraged yet - you're not out until AF shows up! I can't wait for the warmer weather too -- it's been so chilly lately. I was going to ask what you made for dinner and then I saw your reply to keiki - sounds so yummy! Maybe I'll make a roast this week (you've inspired me!).

@keikilove woohoo for seeing your friend! I can't wait to see some of mine once the weather is warmer. Sorry about your dream -- hopefully it's just your mind playing tricks on you. Sending all the good and sticky thoughts your way!!

R/R: So I got the J&J vaccine yesterday. SO happy to be vaccinated. But, it hurt quite a bit going in and I definitely had a fever last night. Feeling a bit headache-y and tired today. So I guess that's fair warning to anyone who gets it! I haven't temped for the last two days (feel asleep on the couch, then felt so crappy last night) so it hardly feels like I'm in the TWW. I'm glad I was able to get the vaccine this cycle since we didn't have the best timing so at least it doesn't feel like a "wasted" cycle.

@fantasyflyte your dinner sounds fantastic! I hope you saved the recipe from this weekend for the future. Good luck with your long day. How's YH's computer doing?

@keikilove argh I'm sorry about the nightmares. But so happy you got to catch up with your friend! When do you think you'll get the vaccine?

@misspricklepants that challenge sounds fun but not something I'd do. Lol. My old housemates (3/5) did a similar one in the summer and I'm like: I'll just cheer you on from my couch. Haha. Did YH also startegize running slots in the evening/night to maximize sleep?

Timing: -4, -3, -1, O

Typical LP length: there's no "typical" over here; on progesterone suppositories and hCG micro-dosing to make it longer.

Testing: Well, it took about 5 days to test out the last micro-dose and I'm doing a second shot tonight; so, I suspect not until 16DPO.

R/R: Argh, I have also been sleep awfully. Not sure what's happening. We've made pretty significant changes to our diet since last Monday, so MH thinks it's that. Anyways, I hope it's over soon, cause it would be nice not to have tired eyes.

Rave: I was super productive this weekend, getting all my legal paperwork that I needed to get done completed; also sending in my DL renewal... though I forgot to stamp it so I expect it'll come back; and also getting 90% of my tax stuff in order. Now I just have to figure out what accountant I'll use. And if I want to file jointly with MH (don't really want to because he'll take forever to get his taxes done; but I think we would get more money back that way.)

Oh, huge rant: MH and I had to do some genetic tests this morning (not sure why; we've already done one in the summer, but our RE's assistant mistakenly ordered another. Different company though, so that'll be interesting). And MH had to do a hereditary cancer screen because of his family history. The instructions were SO COMPLICATED for what is essentially spitting into a tube. And they were also outdated (one step had us going to the website to 'register' the kit, and the website said "registration is no longer required because we have improved our tracking." Anyways, it took us 40 minutes to complete the process and not because spitting into 3 tubes took much time. Argh. At least, besides the ASA test MH is scheduled to do on Mar 23, this is the last bit of testing TEW has us doing.

CS/Q: Temps are starting to come down; I wonder if the hCG micro-dose tonight will prompt a rise.

@acleverusername hopefully testing all comes back good! Sounds like a pain. DH didn't strategize, it was literally every 4 hours. Each run took him about 35 mins and it was hard to sleep in between. Crazy!

@acleverusername it was super simple, we used the same recipe and only altered the interior temp that we took it out at. The first time we took it out when our thermometer said 130, since that's what the recipe said. Second time was 142. This time it was 138, and it was perfect. And my husband's computer seems to be totally fine now, knock on wood! And thank goodness lol!

@acleverusername fingers crossed 🤞!! You just reminded me I have to finish getting all my paperwork together for the accountant this weekend. How exciting that you’re almost done with all that testing! I feel like you have made so much progress in the last few weeks!
