I did 32,000 of my 40,000 goal. An improvement on previous weeks, but not hitting my goal. I do think my weekend numbers were really low and I wonder if it is because of holding DD or pushing a shopping cart/stroller while I was walking around stores etc. They were so low compared to weekdays even though I was on my feet a lot.
Week 2 I am going to keep the same goal and hopefully my brace comes this week to see if it helps with the pelvic pain.
I only hit my 7500 a day goal on the weekend but I did get I over 7000 on two other days. Keeping my goal the same this week.
I also noticed last week that I was having a much harder time with getting out of breath. I guess maybe it's part of the normal energy slide as I head towards the last tri since I'm now 27 weeks. Whatever the reason it was a bit defeating when my walking route that normally takes me 25 minutes took me 35 and I was huffing and puffing the whole time! Ah well, at least I got out and did it.
I'm going insane trying to find last week's steps on my apple watch or phone. I did hit my goal of doing yoga every day and exercised at least 30 minutes every day.

How did week 1 go? I made it! Did 43,807 steps last week, so just over my goal of 42k. My husband and I took a long walk along the river/Tidal Basin around sunset on Saturday, which was lovely. Either my body got used to the belly weight or the bands are working, because my pelvic pain really wasn't bad at all.
What are week 2 goals? The same? Some adjusting? Will keep the same goal this week. May consider upping next week, or integrating other workouts the days I don't walk. Definitely sticking with a weekly goal over daily, I think I need the flexibility to deal with work and pregnancy pains, so I tend to do "on/off" days to take some breaks when needed.
@ramzlau Not sure what phone/system you use, but if you use something like MapMyRun it'll at least log the distance and then you can approximate step count off of that (for me I know that 1 mile = ~2500 steps)
@ellieemc26 Ugh, I am *so* f-ing slow these days! Also run out of breath super easily. I know it's because of reduced lung capacity, so trying to not let it get to me and just taking my time. I figure even slow & steady is good.
How did week 1 go? Good week 1! We are FINALLY warming up in the midwest so able to get outside before or after work to run/walk. So so loving this weather! (even though I know it is temporary).
What are week 2 goals? The same? Some adjusting? Probably keeping goals the same this week as last week as I felt good most the week. @ak@akoros what belly bands are you using? I have random days of pelvic pain, so curious to try something out that could possibly help with this!
@AlliDB Mostly this Neotech one, but I also ordered this one which is a big bigger/more involved. The former is simpler, more comfortable to sit in (if you're getting up/down a lot), and smaller so it's easier to tuck under a shirt. That said, the fabric is a bit scratchy, so I wouldn't wear it against your bare skin. The latter is bigger, which is both good and bad, but has softer fabric. It also explicitly has a lower back support, though I've noticed decent support from both options.
How did week 1 go? Not great- I had a fairly stressful week at work with 4 unscheduled last minute afternoon meetings. 38.5k of my 49k goal.
What are week 2 goals? The same? Some adjusting? Trying again to do 49k. Should be a better week weather wise, but today was not much better with work!
Get on my exercise bike at least 4 times this week and get out for a walk or 2 on these now warmer days. My Fitbit died so I haven’t been able to track my steps lately and I haven’t gotten a new one yet
My belly band came today! Excited to try it with a longer walk tomorrow!
@akoros When I am doing walks I turn on one of the tracking apps, but for grocery store or IKEA like this weekend I feel like it is not consistent to use one of those. Ideas?
@laurad75 Mine did give me a weekly summary notification where it had my total numbers, but I usually have to use the activity app and add up each day through my phone. If you go to the details of each day and scroll down a bit it says steps.
Week 1 went good for me too. I hit my goals all week and actually did above what I set for myself for daily step goal 😁 Some days I did over between 10-14,000 steps 😳
I think for week 2 im going to up it a bit and do 8,000 steps a day unstead of 7,000 and see how that goes and still try and keep my fitness/exercise to at least 30 mins a day.
Last week wasn’t the greatest. Only got 48,122 steps. I started really strong and then my anxiety spiked and I just really had a hard time with life. So far yesterday and today I did 2+ mile walks plus whatever steps I’ve gotten in at work. So I’m hoping I can keep it up.
Late here as well. I’m going to switch to a weekly goal like some of you ladies. I have some very good days and other days where I might as well be in a coma.
They scheduled daily manager meetings at noon and I’m like really 🙄 the only time I can get my walks in.
Edited to add that I definitely did not hit my daily step goal, only did it 3 out of the 7 days.
I have an exercise bike and I love it. However, I need a different routine so I haven’t been riding my bike daily. I think dh and I are about to buy a treadmill and pick it up this weekend. I’m excited to continue to force myself to keep moving! I worked out every day with my first pregnancy and it helped me bounce back so much easier. I need to keep telling myself that for motivation lol
