TWW Weekend 3.6-3.7

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

R/R: I'm getting vaccinated tomorrow! I am so excited. I've been pretty successful in getting family members appointments, so I just volunteered with a local organization to help others get appts. Not like I need something else on my plate but it feels good to make an impact!

GTKY: Are you an introvert or extrovert? Introvert. Which is a little tricky as a teacher!

@fameonmain2 it’s so nice that you’re helping others out! Doesn’t it feel good?! I love the feeling of giving back which is one of the reasons I love this (and other fertility) forum: I get to share my wealth of knowledge with those just starting out.

    Month/Cycle: 14/14

    CD/DPO: 29/8

    Timing: -4, -3, -1,O

Typical LP length: on progesterone and doing hCG micro-dosing so moot point.

Testing: not really sure given the hCG microdose; might have to ask my RE for a blood test.

R/R: it’s a beautiful day here in the Bay Area but I’ve got paperwork to get done: taxes, work permit, and DL renewal. Boooooo! Our doggy client is getting picked up today so we’re still rather house bound cause she doesn’t like to be left alone.

I’m getting a Covid antibodies test done today because I’m participating in a study so that’s cool. Oh and my feeling sick scare was just that: a scare. Results of the Covid tests all came back negative. Phew!

GTKY: Are you an introvert or extrovert? Definitely an extrovert. In college, we did this Myers Briggs activity where everyone did the test. When the teacher was handing out the results, she loudly/sarcastically proclaimed “did you know that acleverusername is an extrovert?!” I was always participating in class discussion/asking questions/and was a class clown. Lol. At that time, I scored the highest possible score on extroversion. I do think that’s come down a bit now, as I prefer a 1-1 catch-ups as opposed to a group ones, and I have started to dislike crowds. Covid didn’t help with that last one.

CS/Q: looking good! I’m seeing the beginnings of what “they” call a triphasic chart pattern. But of course, it’s TempDrop and so the last 2 teams are “subject to change.”

R/R: Rave: Had the most fantastical slice of chocolate cake today. It’s the little things amiright?

    Month/Cycle: 13/don't know

    CD/DPO: 21/no clue

    Timing: n/a

Typical LP length: 12 days or so

    Testing: none

R/R: So I'm putting myself here because I just got off BC pills two days ago, and now I'm having withdrawal bleeding. I still have to wait for my period to start so I can start my transfer cycle, so I'm REALLY hoping all I have is a two week wait, haha. It's so frustrating to be bleeding and it's not really my period. I also have felt so off all day - zero energy, just blah. I'm isolated so I'm pretty sure I'm not coming down with anything, I just feel icky, and I also feel guilty because I didn't work out for 2 days now and just...ugh. Ok, whining over.

GTKY: Are you an introvert or extrovert? I'd say mostly introvert, but when I was working (I was a high school teacher) I felt pretty extroverted there. I think for me, it has to do with confidence - I felt really confident working, and in a lot of social situations, I'm less so.

    CS/Q: nope

@acleverusername that study you are in sounds cool! Glad the covid test came back negative. Hope you are feel better!

@fameonmain2 Good luck with your vaccine! That’s great that you’re able to help others get access. Good for you!
@acleverusername  Wow, it sounds like you’re getting a lot accomplished this weekend! Sorry you felt ill but glad it wasn’t serious. Which study are you participating in? (If it’s not too personal😉)
@misspricklepants Ooooh, chocolate cake sounds divine right now! I laughed at your project manager comment. It hats how it is sometimes!😄
@lisa3379 Sorry you’re not feeling great. Hopefully the feeling subsides soon. What you wrote about teaching really makes sense. I know so many teachers who seem a bit shy or reserved, and then fill the space with their personalities when they’re teaching.

    Month/Cycle: 34/who knows?

CD/DPO: 22/6dp3dt (@acleverusername I just learned this week that the day of transfer doesn’t count, so I’m actually just 6 days post transfer today 😉)

Timing: Perfect, hopefully! We did a frozen embryo transfer

    Typical LP length: 13ish

Testing: I usually start testing at 9dpo, which I technically am today; it’s taking everything in me to not POAS. But they say frozen embryos can take longer to implant so I’m trying to follow Dr’s orders and not test at home. We’ll see....

R/R: Rave: I took Saturday to completely rest & rejuvenate. God, I needed that! Rant: I’ve been passing out early each evening this week because I’ve been so worn out from a  couple of too-hectic weeks. Then I keep waking up around 2 or 3 am, which isn’t good or healthy. Going to try to go back to sleep now and break this pattern this coming week.

GTKY: Are you an introvert or extrovert? Most people think I’m an extrovert, but I’m actually exactly half and half. When I take the Meyers Briggs and other similar tests, they always divide me evenly between the two classifications. I love being around people I know and am often the life of the party, but I hate being in new situations meeting people or with groups I don’t know.

    CS/Q: N/A

@misspricklepants it is ABSOLUTELY the little things! Glad you enjoyed that slice of cake!

@Lisa3379 Sorry you have 0 energy; it’s probably the hormonal shifts causing that. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

@keikilove @fameonmain2 this is the study I’m in: https://osher.ucsf.edu/research/current-research-studies/tempredict. I’ve mentioned on here previously that I own a ring (was a bday gift from hubs last year) so when I got app notification about the study, I thought “why not?!” It involves submitting daily surveys about how I’m feeling and giving the researchers access to my data (but stripped of personal info). I figured getting an antibodies test as part of the study is a good enough perk. Haha. MH and I haven’t been sick since Covid started but we did travel to Chicago 1st weekend of March last year; plus we moved to a new place once shelter in place started; plus all the exposure before CDC figured out that mask wearing is a good idea. So, I’ve always wondered if we might have had asymptotic Covid. So now at least I’ll find out!

@keikilove good to know re: transfer day not counting towards the DPO. Stay strong re: not testing! Are you doing the beta locally?
