WTO Friday 3/5

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. WAYDTGKU: HIO, OPKs

R/R: Rave: +OPKs so HIO per usual... something about this cycle just feels different. I think DH is more on board with timing and it takes the stress out of the equation. Huge difference.

Also, it's Friday, need I say more?! It's going to be a gorgeous weekend here in the Chicago suburbs with a high of 52 haha. There's a Vintage Shop Hop happening in town so going with a few girlfriends and hoping to find a few pieces on my list: sideboard/hutch, dining table centerpiece, ottoman seats for the living room... and anything else that strikes my fancy!

    CS/Q: None.

@misspricklepants gotta love when the husbands are on board. I thought I'd have to be pushy to get DH going to do it but I was pleasantly surprised at his passion last night lol.

    Month/Cycle: 4 AL

    CD: 15

WAYDTGKU: temping, OPKs, GF/DF diet, CM monitoring etc etc

R/R: TGIF! I spent half of yesterday thinking it was Friday so that was very disappointing when I was thinking about the HIO schedule I want for this weekend 🙈 and knowing (actual) today was going to be a break day. DH may be gone for quite a bit on Saturday so an AM HIO is perfect to check the box so there's no worry about when he gets home and whether or not I can keep myself up that late. I'm told I'm not one to be fine with getting woken up for sex 😆 TMI?

CS/Q: OPKs are a smidge darker, but not by much. First positive might be tonight. If not, I'm guessing it definitely will be tomorrow.

WAYDTGKU: digital opk, tracking w/app, trying to remember my damn vitamins

R/R: it's friday, woot! MH interviewed for a new job two weeks ago and we should find out today, brutal wait. and on a boring but exciting note, we close on the refi of our rental property monday, which is exciting. taking 3 years off the loan, much lower interest, so lots of savings long term.

    CS/Q: nada

@misspricklepants that definitely takes the stress out of things, glad YH is so on board ;) hope you hit gold in the shopping department this weekend!

@inthewoods23 haha is anything really TMI here? I am also like that haha but that timing sounds perfect! Hopefully you get your darker OPKs ASAP!

@anniemarie887 congrats on the closing! :)

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 17

    WAYDTGKU: OPKs, HIO, PNV

R/R: agreed with all the above - FRIDAY. I have zero motivation to work today so we will see how much gets done...

CS/Q: I think I still go here? I have no idea what’s happening this cycle. I guess this is what I get for not tracking BBT. I posted a question on the OPK thread if anyone has a minute...might have had a positive but it hasn’t been like my last 3 cycles so I might hang out here for another couple days to see if I get a late spike.

@anniemarie887 remembering vitamins is tough! DH and I have found using one of those weekly pill boxes to be very helpful in that department, plus it saves some time by putting in the vitamins for the week and so each day you don't have to dole out whatever you take.

@misspricklepants oooooooh VINTAGE! *heart eyes* fx you get some goods!

@inthewoods23 I have also been known to suggest to MH that he can wake me late at night for HIO but it has NEVER gone well! agreed with @ronnie320 is there ever TMI here?!?

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

WAYDTGKU: bbt, CBAD opk, PNV, cm/cp

R/R: I am thrilled to announce my weekend of doing absolutely NOTHING!

CS/Q: nothing new! I always O either on a new moon or the day before and that's not until next Saturday so let's see if the temps match that (and then AF comes on the full moon, like clockwork)

    Month/Cycle: 6/7 (I think? Who knows)

    CD: 10

    WAYDTGKU: Pre-natals, OPKs, GF diet

R/R: Rave: I am with everyone - SO happy it's Friday. Rant: I had the second part of a root canal on Wednesday, and my tooth still really hurts. I am abnormal in the fact that I don't mind the dentist but this was like being a character in "Saw." It was torture.

CS/Q: I am taking a risk in not starting my OPK until later this weekend because last month's surge wasn't until day 18. I am worried I might be waiting too long, but I have a limited amount of sticks left so I don't want to waste them.

@inthewoods23 I hate it when I have my weekdays messed up, but hopefully this mix-up worked in your favor!

@anniemarie887 FX for YH! We just refinanced too, we're officially a full point lower than when we bought 5 years ago! This is the 3rd time we've refinanced, the VA makes it pretty easy.

@chgilmore Unplanned weekends are the BEST weekends! DH is occupied all weekend (Goggins challenge) and it feels so liberating getting to do whatever the h-e-double hockey sticks I want, including vintage shopping naturally!

@fifilala516 Ouch! I've been there. Most times the dentist is no biggie, but I've also had a very saw-like experience. Needless to say, never went back to that dentist!

@ronnie320 I'll check out your post!

Hope you ladies all have wonderful and relaxing weekends!

@fifilala516 I also don't mind the dentist! But my sensitive teeth are getting worse so the cleanings are starting to get uncomfortable.

+1000 to it being Friday! What a week.

R/R: rave: we're finally getting the ball rolling on painting our house. We've been here for 5 years and I'm sick of the builder grade paint. We just had them come over for a quote and it was super reasonable!

    CS/Q: nope

@pajamstagrams paint makes a world of difference! do you know what colors you're thinking of? we went pretty bold with our place - purple, midnight navy, robin's egg blue, and "indian spice" have all made appearances here lol
  • Options
@chgilmore oh we're going boring 😂 repainting the ceiling to be *very* white (as opposed to the same off white as our walls) and the walls will be repainted a different shade of white, less yellow than what we currently have. And the walls will be eggshell finish instead of matte finish, because matte is the WORST and shows literally everything. I wanted the "agreeable gray" color but it's just too dark for our house since we don't have great natural light.
  • Options
@pajamstagrams I mean if you're going to go white, might as well make it BRIGHT white - it's a bold statement in and of itself! oh yeah, gotta be eggshell, matte is no bueno, but so is too glossy on, say, touching up the ceiling xD (we made this mistake with some white paint the previous owners left, it's a whole look LOL)
  • Options
@chgilmore oooh yeah we have no desire to touch the ceiling ourselves. Or do any painting ourselves. It took us maybe 3 weekends to paint one small room 😂
