Re: WTO Wednesday 3/3

  • Month/Cycle: 9/9

    CD: 23

    WAYDTGKU: charting

R/R: Well after all my ranting yesterday it looks like I O'd yesterday (temp shift today and O pain yesterday) and just missed my surge. *facepalm* I'm not sure why I didn't think of that -- I was a bit lax with my testing and not moving to 2x a day once I saw fertile cm so that's totally on me. I was a mess this month mental health wise so we only got one session in. Oh well - it only takes one, right?! Happy to be working from home today - it looks like we will be back in on Wednesdays starting in April so I'm going to enjoy these WFH days while I can.

CS/Q: I'll hang around here until I get 3 days of high temps!

  • @fameonmain2 it only takes one! This was me last month, felt like a total failure. WFH is the best honestly, I'm so fortunate to work for a company that allows it. I'm not confident we'll be back in the office this year and I am not complaining.

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 13

    WAYDTGKU: HIO, OPKs

R/R: Rave: Timing seems to be working out this cycle. Timing the deed is always difficult for DH and I, just not natural and we both hate it. Mind over matter this cycle!

    CS/Q: None.

    image
  • @fameonmain2 happened to my friend! The fun part would that you'll know exactly when conception occurred  :D If O was yesterday, you might still benefit from some sex today

@misspricklepants we're the same. DH doesn't have much of a sex drive so it's basically on me to get it done. Yet he complains about feeling too scheduled and mechanical about it. Well dude, maybe find what turns you on and we wouldn't have this problem! lol

    Month/Cycle: 4 AL

    CD: 13

WAYDTGKU: AM sex, PNV and other supplements, GF/DF diet, temping, OPKs, checking cervix and CM

R/R: DH is finally better. He never got tested but we're thinking it was just some kind of stomach bug/flu. My mom mentioned my sister visiting this weekend and said I could come out too. My first thought was to opt out simply because he was sick and I don't want that spreading. My secondary thought was that I'm going to be O'ing this weekend so it's kind of important for me to stay home lol. Why it wasn't the other way around I have no clue haha. You'd think I'd have FW on my mind and be thankful I have a "I don't want to spread his illness" to fall back on.

    CS/Q: things are shaping up

  • @inthewoods23 CD buddies! I'm feeling good this cycle, FX for us both! Ugh... yes, timing the deed. DH is doing the Goggins challenge (running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours) starting Friday at 4pm... so he's going to need to come home in between Fri and Sat to get 'er done haha. I'm glad DH is feeling better, that's got to be a relief.

  • @fameonmain2 def only takes one!
@misspricklepants it is harder when it feels scheduled
@inthewoods23 i'm the one who is like really? do we have to? MH is the one who is like well... if you want to get pg ya know how it works.

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 5

WAYDTGKU: tracking w/app, bought new digital opk, prenatal vitamins when i remember (gotta get better on this)

R/R: the sun is shining and we've got a high of 50 today... spring you're so close and my mood 100% needs you!

    CS/Q:

  • @misspricklepants that sounds exhausting! Is that 4 hours between the end of the run to the start of the next? Or every 4 hours is the start of a new 4 mile run so there's actually not a 4 hour break? What a bad weekend to do this haha

@anniemarie887 I'm not much better than DH TBH. The drive is definitely there during FW, but outside that it's not there too much. Half the problem is likely that I'm friskier in the mornings but DH is too busy trying to get his muscles to move. He's a night owl, not an early bird. So I'm taking care of myself most of the other times throughout the cycle since that's almost always right when I wake up :D TMI? lol

  • @fameonmain2 @misspricklepants WFH is seriously the best, I love not commuting and not having to negotiate scheduling space with coworkers when I have clients.

@inthewoods23 MH and I have the same dynamic, the pandemic has been ROUGH on him, he's constantly stressed and he doesn't like that we're "so familiar" now because we're at home all the time. the pressure to be the one initiating all the time, especially when it's for TTGP, feels tough. but hey, ladies gotta take care of themselves sometimes ;)

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 6

WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT, CBAD opk, CM and positioning

R/R: I'm feeling a lot of tingly/vibrating energy in my body today. fingers crossed BUT I may be getting hired at my internship site after I graduate. my supervisor was super supportive of it and said I was a good fit on the team, and she's the hiring manager anyway sooo I'm cautiously optimistic at having a "big girl job" with my master's. and after not going back to my hometown in FL for nearly 2 years, I booked a flight to spend a week there once I'm fully vaccinated. still will have some common sense rules, but I'm looking forward to seeing family and a couple of friends.

    TW (in spoiler):
one of my best friends and my stepsister both had DDs last year and I haven't met them yet and I am ITCHING to! they are adorable

CS/Q: temp dropped today so hopefully will see something soon, probably won't O for another week or so though

  • @inthewoods23 girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!
  • @misspricklepants glad the timing is working out for you!! I’m a teacher so wfh on Wednesday’s is truly an absolutely luxury and one I am not anticipating I will get back, haha.

@anniemarie887 sounds beautiful! I am so ready for daylight savings and longer days too!

@inthewoods23 I’m glad yh is feeling better! I feel like it’s a good sign if you’re not automatically thinking about your fw — sometimes that can get so overwhelming!

@chgilmore that’s so exciting about the possible job! I hope it works out for you. I’m sure it would be nice to be in a place you’re already comfortable too.

@anniemarie887 that weather does sound delightful! Seattle is experiencing something very similar and we love it while it lasts

ETA: @fameonmain2 thanks! turns out after doing all the steps to apply to recruitment and whatever, my supervisor is the hiring manager LOL so my chances are better than I thought! crossing toes AND fingers
  • @inthewoods23 haha every 4 hours is the start of another 4 miles! So if it takes him 30 min to finish 4 mi then he’s only got a 3.5 hour break until the next... he’s insane but it’s for an awesome cause!
