Timing: "good" per FF

Testing: tomorrow. Really tempted to test today, but I'm holding off!

R/R: FWP- went to the grocery store yesterday because I really wanted Glutino yogurt pretzels, and I thought I bought them there last time. Nope, it was a different store (which I hate going to because it's insanely crowded). So now I don't have pretzels and I'm sad.

Timing: -3, -1, O

Typical LP length: varies; on progesterone and hCG microdosing

Testing: Have to wait and see how long it takes me to test out the hCG microdose. Today’s test shows that I got the injection right.

R/R: brought MH to the blood lab this morning for some blood tests that his urologist ordered back in Oct. We’ve been postponing going because he doesn’t do well with blood tests (he suffers from vasovagal syncope which I learned about the hard way when we started out IF testing back in Jul 2020.) Alas, I thought that I could go in with him but since the lab is in an outpatient hospital center, they wouldn’t let me. Now I’m on pins and needles waiting for him outside.

CS/Q: FF changed CH to a dashed line. Not sure why. Maybe because I O’ed so much later this cycle?

@acleverusername not so much resolve as pure stubbornness and thriftiness 😂 also, I just don't want to deal with faint lines, etc. I like absolutes. If digitals weren't so dang expensive I'd just use those.

Not sure what's going on with dashed CH...I have quite a few cycles with dashed CH because I routinely get EWCM 3DPO (2 DPO is still solid), and that gets flagged, or like last cycle, I got it just before AF. But that's not what you have, and to me your O looks pretty clear. 🤔 maybe it's because O was later than usual? Is there a note on FF? Mine usually pops up with the tidbit about EWCM after ovulation when that happens.

ETA: I looked back at old cycles (with no late EWCM), and I had 1 with dashed CH with late O and then 2 with solid with late O. all 3 months back to back.🤷‍♀️

@acleverusername did you create your own line for the hcg? Or was that an option in FF? This is going to really bother me so I’m going to need you to figure out why the CHs are dotted now 😂

@bows22 🤣🤣🤣🤣 yes ma’am! I’m on the case. (I did add a custom medication to FF for hCG.)

@pajamstagrams I looked through the detailed review and the only warning was the late Ovulation (plus the varied luteal phase which is a perma-warning.) So idk 🤷‍♀️.

Testing: FF suggests 3/10 so that's what I'm shooting for

R/R: Today's my 7-hours-on-campus day, boo. Glad we made soup the other day so I don't have to worry about cooking when I get home. Nothing else exciting going on in my world, really.

CS/Q: Got my CH as expected, dotted though they may be. Can't decide if I'm optimistic or pessimistic about this cycle. Trying to stop myself from thinking of cute announcements if this is the cycle. Failing.

@acleverusername sorry you weren't able to go in with YH, hope he was okay! Vasovagal syncope is a PITA. That's weird on the CH, my first thought would normally be varied temps but yours don't really look varied. Do they change with a different detector setting?

@acleverusername what happens if you make today’s temp like 98.05 ish or a little higher? I wonder if your temps aren’t getting high enough for FF to consider it a fallback rise

@bows22 nope; didn't work. Another friend suggested it's because temps at the start of my cycle are inordinately high. We'll see if it reconsiders depending my temps tomorrow.

@fantasyflyte look at you being all prepared with food for the week! I only got as far as picking recipes I want to cook this week and buying all of the ingredients.

@acleverusername the high temps at the beginning of the cycle being the reason would make more sense to me if it gave you dotted CHs yesterday too.

@bows22 yeah - I discarded the temps at the beginning of the cycle, and that didn't do anything to the dotted CHs; I'll wait and see if TempDrop adjusts today's temp tomorrow AM/also changes the dotted CHs back to solid.

@acleverusername Could it be the addition of hCG causing the dotted lines? Whenever I tick off progesterone or some other special meds I get dotted CHs, as FF doesn’t think the results are reliable. Not sure if it also does this for hCG.
