Dumb question :)

I know this isn't the proper board for this question but it's the only board I post on :) So, DH & I are hoping that I am pg this cylce & being that I am super impatient, I want to test really bad. I bought some 5 day early first response tests. AF is due Tuesday, would 5 days early be Thursday or Friday? I'm not sure if I count Tuesday or not. TIA!!

    I tested the day my AF was due but I had twins.  I would say that it is ok to test a few days after AF is due.

    Well, I'm not usually an advocate for testing early...too many YEARS of testing early only to get a negative and then have AF show up a few days later.

    Anyway, I think I would probably count Tuesday.  I guess it depends on whether AF usually comes at the end of the day or you get to wake up to it.

    Do you have any idea when you ovulated?  9 or 10 DPO, is usually the earliest the tests can detect the HCG levels.  If AF is due on Tuesday, the earliest I would test is Saturday.

    With this pregnancy (due in Feb) I tested 8 days after ovulation and got my positive.  With my 2 1/2yr I tested the day I was late.

    Thanks ladies! I did test 3 days before my AF was due & got a BFP with DS so that's why I'm hoping I'll find out early. I think I'll wait a few more days. Oh & I just realized there are two toddlers boards now!?
