Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Monday 3/1

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

  • Month/Cycle: 27/30

    CD/DPO: 22/7

    Timing: -4,-1,+1

    Typical LP length: Mysterious lately

    Testing: Thursday

R/R: Whoops, it’s been a bit since I’ve posted. The past 3 weeks have been a little nuts with my biggest audit. We have another firm that works on it with us and they are really needy so my days are chaotic when they are there. But they are gone now which means I’m over the hump of the worst part of tax season! In TTC related news, my old RE office finally got back to me with a new fax number to try for the medical records release form. Even though the one we were using is the one listed on their website. Whatever. Happy to be making progress there!

    CS/Q:

  • @bows22 sorry it's been crazy but yay for the worst being over! I'm excited because my last W-2 is in today's mail, so I can file my taxes this afternoon. We really need the refund so fingers crossed it either stays the same or increases once I add in this last W-2. Also yay on progress on the RE front!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 31/2 or 3

    Timing: O-1/2

    Typical LP length: 10-11

Testing: gonna try really hard to wait for 11dpo

R/R: no CH yet, but moving here because it's pretty obvious to me that I ovulated late Friday night/Saturday morning. Nothing exciting going on. Just bleary-eyed starting my mega day - Mondays I have a total of 4 classes spread out over 12ish hours with a couple breaks between. Very glad we cooked last night so I don't have to worry about putting together food for myself today. I downloaded a few apps that are supposed to let me input my pantry/fridge and the apps give me recipes so that we can get better about using what we have on hand and saving money.

CS/Q: happy to see my temp rise a bit this morning, feeling pretty confident I did ovulate.

@fantasyflyte I should really get some of those apps too...more so because I can never remember what spices we have in the pantry 🙈

@bows22 in my experience transferring records is so difficult! We needed to transfer some records (on a CD) from one hospital to another, and it took FOREVER (actually don't know if they ever did it, come to think of it 🤔), and at one point the Dr was joking about going to get it in person since the hospitals were less than 1 mile apart.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2
    CD/DPO: 25/12
    Timing: "good"
    Typical LP length: 13-14
Testing: Wednesday at earliest...AF expected Wednesday or Thursday
R/R: really glad I didn't track and log every single twinge this cycle. TWW is much less stressful.
CS/Q: nah, but I wish I was able to log temps at a more consistent time this month. Darn winter storm, throwing off my whole schedule during FW!

Edit: spacing. Copy/paste does weird things sometimes.
  • @fantasyflyte hope you continue to see the temp shift!

@pajamstagrams why does everything have to be so difficult?? I have a feeling when they do get sent they aren’t even going to be complete. But at least it will be a start. Glad you are enjoying scaling back on tracking! I don’t really track symptoms either, but sometimes I wish I would so that I could look back and say no bows, your boobs always start to hurt at 6 DPO. But at this point I’ve had every symptom and also had cycles with no symptoms and haven’t been KU yet so it clearly doesn’t really matter.
  • @bows22 yeah I did realize after tracking that I was always constipated in luteal phase...I guess I forgot progesterone will do that to ya 😂  and I was able to pinpoint my hormonal migraines were linked to the first couple days of my cycle. There's just a fine line between useful info and SS.
  • @bows22 glad to see you back here! Congrats on being over the tax season hump; that audit sounds daunting! And hooray for finally getting movement on getting your records transferred. Did you get your Covid vaccine?

@fantasyflyte good luck with your mega day! I hope you get that refund. I really should start thinking about doing my taxes (I procrastinate even though I have someone else do them for me due to international complications.)

@pajamstagrams sounds like you’re enjoying a much more peaceful TWW with no tracking! Good on your for having the self restraint and also not testing until Wed!

    Month/Cycle: 14/14

    CD/DPO: 24/3

Timing: -3, -1, O (FF scored me “high” on intercourse timing!)

Typical LP length: no typical; this month I’m taking all of the drugs so I expect it’ll be 16-17 days.

Testing: I’ll be microdosing with hCG for luteal support and have decided I want to test out the micro dose (which I’ll do 1x week). So I’ll be testing starting tomorrow as my first shot is tonight.

R/R: I went for a massage yesterday and it was amazing; it was a deep sports massage and the first one ever where I kept my clothes on. I was really weirded out by the approach but it became quickly apparent that my clothes there no barrier for this masseur. I swear I think he braces his foot on the wall at one point to get into a trigger point in my back. I feel a bit sore today but also pretty great. I knew what to expect from that place as I’ve been there before and their tag line is “for ppl who think massage should hurt a bit.”

CS/Q: temps staying low to the coverline. But I did a Proov test today and it was Snow White which I think is the first time that happened to me on a 3DPO Proov test.

  • @acleverusername I did get it! 2nd dose coming up this Saturday! And that’s another reason I haven’t been around, all of my “phone time” lately has been going towards helping others get appointments. It’s not impossible to find appointments here but you kind of have to know the tricks, which is so unfair to anyone who isn’t super speedy with technology. But I’m finally out of requests for help for the time being! I didn’t do a great job with lurking the past few weeks but I did see your post about your grandmother and I am so  sorry for your loss❤️. Covid obviously sucks for a number of reasons, but these types of situations are the worst.
  • @acleverusername that sounds like my kind of massage 😂 deep tissue all the way! If I'm not sore after, it wasn't good enough. I'm soooo overdue for one since I've been avoiding due to COVID. If this cycle is unsuccessful, I'm absolutely booking one ASAP.
  • @pajamstagrams yeah, I feel you on the tracking. I did discover that I have increased sex drive and acne around ovulation though, which is nice to be aware of. That said, I tend to be one of those who looks back and says "oh yeah, it makes sense that I got a migraine/got my period/was getting a cold, because I had [insert symptoms here]!" But I almost never make that connection before the thing happens.

@acleverusername turns out my taxes were messed up and almost nothing got taken out of that last job, so my net refund went down by about $500 once I added that one in. It's not like we're struggling a bit and could have REALLY used that $500 or anything, no, not all all, coolcoolcoolcool.
Also a massage sounds amazing right now.

  • @bows22 you're providing a valuable service to your family and friends, but it really sucks that you have to do that. Glad to hear you'll be getting your 2nd dose imminently.

@pajamstagrams to be honest, leaving my clothes on felt somehow safer in the time of Covid; plus I had dual mask on. It make it somewhat difficult to take deep breaths when he dug into my trigger points, but it was so so worth it.

@fantasyflyte that sucks about your refund. I hate it when employers screw up your deductions and you're stuck holding the money bag at the end of the year.
