You know how the kids these days are bringing back all kinds of 80s and 90s looking pants styles? We live in NYC, and it's not just the kids wearing them here, its everyone- the more 90s something looks, the better. And I am zero percent complaining.

I know they aren't very flattering, but it frees me up to wear whatever is the most comfortable, and it AMAZING. I can wear the same style yoga pants I wore in 2007, and no one thinks, "oh, she's in super out dated yoga pants," because half the other moms at the park are in the exact same thing. It's ugly and GLORIOUS.

Mine is actually a 2-for-1 confession

So if you have been in the TWW with me you probably know that I order tests on Amazon to be delivered the day before I want to test so that I don’t test early. I usually get the 3 pack and take them on 10,11,12 DPO. Well this cycle my package got delayed and they didn’t come until CD1.

Confession #1 - someone at the Amazon warehouse screwed up and I got 3 3packs instead of just 1. I’m not saying anything though, not because I’m trying to be shady, but because I’m terrified if I offer to return them they will take me up on it and I don’t want that on my to do list. (I know they won’t but I still can’t bring myself to contact them for this reason haha)

Confession #2 - I already took one...they arrived on CD1 so 😬. How many will be left by the time I start my next cycle????

@bows22 oh hell yes girl, capitalize on amazon's mistake! I doubt they would make you return anyway, it would cost them to pay for shipping/restocking fees. target doesn't even bother with returns anymore, they just refund me for low cost items.

@pajamstagrams I know, I know. I just don’t even want to offer if I know I won’t deliver on it. Hahaha. I was very pumped when I saw all 3 boxes inside though!

@bows22 Legally, if a company sends you a product you didn’t order, they cannot charge you for it or require you to return it. I know this because at Christmas time DH ordered two face masks from Coach for a total of $26. They sent us the masks...and also a $400 leather bag, so we looked all this up.

@acleverusername Sure! I’ll put them in a spoiler. It’s a bucket style, which I wouldn’t usually pick, but I actually really like it. It has magnetic clasps on either side, and has two completely separate sides, so when a baby comes I could reasonably put my stuff in one side, and 3-4 diapers, wipes, and a spare change of clothes on the other side if I were in a situation where I didn’t want or need a full diaper bag.

@bows22 That's awesome! Reminds me of the time I ordered one box of Clear Blue OPKs and they sent me a case of 6 instead.

@bows22 my ILs for whatever reason have on more than 1 occasion had something delivered to them from Amazon that they did not order. It's addressed to them and it's their home address so they have no idea why this is happening. One time they got some kind of mattress that comes rolled up (like a Casper mattress I think?). Every time they tell them to just keep it since it was sent by mistake.

We've been less fortunate in the "free stuff from Amazon" department. *TW child/baby related* We ordered a small mammal cage for our hedgehog late 2019 and instead of the cage a 3-in-1 slim fit car seat from Graco was delivered. Had my name and address so I can only imagine they switched the shipping labels by mistake and someone else expecting a car seat got our animal cage lol. Sadly because it was the wrong item being shipped to us I still had to return it. Couldn't keep it. DH thought I had bought it for our niece who was about 8 months old at the time.

No hun, I would never buy that as my sister obviously had to have a car seat months ago to bring her home

I would have kept it in a heartbeat if that was an option. It was even a color I liked

I’m not sure if this is all that juicy of a FFFC or not but I feel like showing edits/ETA when you’re a regular member is kind of pointless lol I do it but only out of respect because it feels like a board “rule.” I know the purpose is so people don’t Dirty Delete but active members won’t really be doing that anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

@jackie_dunny I always just do it because others seem to but never really knew why either. So just thought I was following the rules. And I don’t even know what ETA actually stands for other than people put it when they’ve edited 😂😬. But agree with your point because I usually am saying “edited for spacing” and think do people care? I wasn’t sure if people get notified/push notifications when they are tagged so thought maybe when I edit they are getting multiple alerts that may be annoying them. But I only use the app and don’t have push notifications nor do I ever actually get notified when I’m tagged (I just have to check) other than once in a blue moon. So I guess the point of my long response is really I have no idea and just follow the rules. 😂 (obv had too much caffeine today)

@sienna221 ETA is edit text after or edited text after. I had to look that up too once upon a time lol. I don't think people get notified when you edit your posts.

You could probably choose not to mention ETA if your edit is a few minutes later. Sometimes I'll post in the dailies and then work on screenshotting my chart and edit my post in within 10 minutes or so when I upload it.

Idk, I get feeling like your edit is something minor and who would care about that, yet at the same time I feel like I want people to know my edit is nothing to worry about and is just spacing related or fixing a stupid typo lol

I always thought it was "edited to add" because most edits are adding additional stuff. On forums in general I don't say ETA unless I'm editing in a lot of stuff in the middle of a quickly moving conversation, or if I'm editing a decent amount of time after posting originally.

I’ll also add that I don’t mind writing edited and what I changed so I’ll just keep doing it! There has also been a couple times I’ve used MH name or OBs name and had to edit. 😂

I'm not sure, you might all actually be right lol. Essentially it just means you've edited the post for X reason.

My quick google search indicates "edit/edited to add" is the most common but "edit text after" or "extra text after" is less commonly used.

There's always the clear "Edit: (whatever change you made)"

Legit Edit: removed duplicate words hahaha

I always thought the edit thing was silly too. It's part of the board culture though so I've gotten used to it. I do think if you're fixing a typo or adding spacing, it's silly to do, but if you're adding something or making big changes then it's nice to note that at the bottom. I have creeped some really old boards before and have noticed that editing the first post to update the story/journey is common. That was when individual posts were more welcome. Maybe that's where it comes from.

Not a FFFC but to add to the Amazon convo, we ordered a shelf thing. We got a notification that our shipping date got pushed back a couple of days. But then the thing showed up on the original ship date. We then get an email from Amazon saying they lost our package and they are refunding our money... We didn't say anything to them. But I'm still so confused why they didn't just ship us another one? Weird.

I also thought that ETA was "edited to add" and I use it inconsistently because most of the time I'm correcting my own spelling mistakes. If I have a legitimate add, I'll use ETA.
