Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Thursday 2.11

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

Re: TWW Thursday 2.11

  • Month/Cycle: 7/1AL

    CD/DPO: 23/6

    Timing: -5, -4, -3, -1, 0, +1

    Typical LP length: 11

Testing: Trying to hold out for 2/17 but have a feeling I’ll cave 2/15 after the weekend

R/R: I kept checking FF calendar yesterday as if by looking at it an hour later was going to change my DPO. 😂 Obviously a slow work day. Today is busier so I’ll avoid that and then I’m getting a facial.

    *TW*

Although I’m nervous about the initial hellos. My last facial I was still pregnant, so already dreading that awkwardness with my esthetician.

    CS/Q: none right now

  • @sienna221 so funny we have the exact same days/timing! And I do that constantly - I check on all 3 of my apps as if that will speed anything up...enjoy your facial, that sounds lovely!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 23/6

    Timing: -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, O

    Typical LP length: varies

Testing: trying to hold off until predicted AF date (17), but may cave and test on Sunday...

R/R: my weather app says it feels like -43C today. W.T.F. But at least it’s the long weekend coming up so a little something to look forward to!

    CS/Q: none

  • Loading the player...
  • @sienna221 have fun with your facial!

    @ronnie320 f*****ck that's cold!

    Month/Cycle: 44/3 AL

    CD/DPO: 23/7

    Timing: -1, -3

    Typical LP length: 13 days

Testing: oh snap it's already almost the weekend

R/R: we are interviewing 2 people tomorrow to add someone to our team. For once I would like a competent coworker pleeeease. Bad coworker already doesn't like one of them because they have mechanical background instead of an electrical background. For a guy who's been in the working world for as long as I've been alive, you'd think he'd know that often times people don't have degrees that directly relate to what a company does/makes. This is super common with engineering disciplines. Soft skills matter more than actual technical knowledge. Also how well they jive with the current group. Anyway, hope it goes well!

CS/Q: *me being stupid like iMpLaNtAtIoN dIp on 6dpo* 🙃 or... You know.. maybe just sweating and getting cold overnight

  • @sienna221 Hope the greetings aren’t too awkward when you get the facial. That’s always nerve-wracking. I’ve been there too—thankfully no one ever asked me what happened. Enjoy your pampering!

@ronnie320 Excellent timing! Hope it pays off like it should.🙂 Hope you’re able to stay inside today. That temp is no bueno.

@inthewoods23 FX you get a competent coworker ASAP! Also, fx that it is indeed an implantation dip.🤞🏽

    Month/Cycle: 33/?

    CD/DPO: 25/11

    Timing: -2, -1

    Typical LP length: 13

    Testing: BFNs for 3 days

R/R: Rant: My chart played games with me and I thought I might see an implantation dip. I also have had stomach cramping that could’ve been implantation. But alas, it was not to be. (Even had a blood test because I have to start medicine that isn’t safe if PG, and that came back clearly negative.) Oh well, it’s in to frozen embryo transfer next cycle.

    CS/Q: Didn’t temp today, this is yesterday’s fake-out chart.
