Trying to Get Pregnant

Ten Things Tuesday 2.9

What are you feeling most thankful for this week? List your top ten below.

Re: Ten Things Tuesday 2.9

  • OK, I'll go. :-)

    1) DH asking me to go for a walk this morning
    2) Mild "winters"--it's gray, cool, and rainy today, and there will even be snow again this week on the mountains. But it's still plenty warm enough to go take a comfortable walk.
    3) Access to quality healthy food and clean water
    4) Clean air
    5) Our comfy home
    6) My siblings behaving better than the drama we had earlier in the pandemic
    7) Modern medicine
    8) Hope and Faith
    9) My angels always looking out for me
    10) The friends I've made on TTGP <3

  • Ok, I'll play too! I've been having a tired/grumpy week, I could use some gratitude in my heart.

    1:Naps
    2: and caffeine
3:How MH working from home has made our family closer.
4: the health of our pets- they're old, but you'd never know it.
5: modern technology- how would we be getting through this pandemic without the ability to reach out to others even when we're all stuck at home?
6: Food delivery. I know it's a luxury, but when someone brings me a hot Philly cheese steak I didn't have to make myself, if feels like my birthday every time.
7: Our local stores finally have lysol and clorox on the shelves again!
8: Modern indoor heating during this very frigid winter we're having (north eastern US)
9: Finally being able to start TTC again!
10: In a spoiler box below:

My DS is a normal 3 year old, ie: an unstoppable blur of action and energy and sass. But he's been saying and doing really sweet things lately, like telling me I'm his princess, or doing helpful things without being asked. I'm just thankful he's a good, kind kid at heart. Three has been a hard year, but those moments makes me feel like we're doing something right.

  • @inthewoods23 ok, I've seen you talk about the GF oreos...Worth it? How do they compare to the gold standard of GF chocolate sandwich cookies, Kinnikinnick brand?
  • @pajamstagrams if you think the Kinnikinnick cookies are good, the GF Oreos are 1,000,000x better and totally worth every penny. I've only been GF for a year for TTC purposes and I still remember what regular Oreos taste like. Let me tell you, they are essentially the same in flavor. Read any taste test and everyone can't tell the difference. There's some slight texture differences, but other than that you wouldn't know it.

Girl go get yourself some Oreos! You won't regret it!
