Re: TWW Weekend 2.6-2.7

  • Month/Cycle: 7/1AL

    CD/DPO: 18/1

    Timing: -5, -4, -3, -1, O (based on when FF says O was)

    Typical LP length: 11 days

Testing: I’ll wait until 2/17 most likely

R/R: Rave - It’s Super Bowl weekend! And my team is in it  so I’m very excited. Also excited to be over in TWW...been a hot minute (or 5 months haha) Rant - I know from above the timing looks pretty good but I’m annoyed the one day we took off. I had a positive that next morning and then didn’t DTD until late that night (14 hrs later). And hadn’t DTD for 24+ hours before that first positive. I know sperm can live 3-5 days and you O after the positive. But just frustrating when you feel you could have done better. Next time I won’t start so early (damn CB Digital and 6 days of high fertility).

GTKY: Favorite weekend meal to cook or enjoy? I love when MH grills on the weekends. He’s really mastered it. I would have said getting take out because I used to love take out on a Friday night...but with quarantine and takeout ALL the time for almost the last year, I’m sick of take out now! Haha

CS/Q: Is there anything to be worried about with a 11 LP length? I think they still say that’s in the normal range but the very edge.

Hey @sienna221, welcome back to the TWW! That is super exciting! I feel you on the frustration of not getting perfect timing, but you were pretty dang close. It’s hard not to worry when you skipped the day you got the positive, but by your description it actually sounds like you timed it really well. O happens 12-36 hours after the positive. And then the egg lives for 12-24 hours. So even if you didn’t HIO till 14 hours after the positive, you still would’ve caught the egg in the earliest possible hours after it was released. (Although it was likely released hours later than that.) That HIO streak is definitely hard to keep up! Also, the 11-day LP shouldn’t be an issue if it’s consistent. If it sometimes drops to shorter then you may want to talk with a doctor.

    Month/Cycle: 33/lost track

    CD/DPO: 20/6

    Timing: -2, -1

    Typical LP length: 13

    Testing: Usually start @ 9dpo

R/R: Rant: It’s COLD🥶 and I don’t want to get out of bed. There’s actually been snow here this week so it truly is freezing. Rave: I finally got some solid sleep and feel energetic this morning. I guess I will put on some warm clothes and get this day started with some yoga.

GTKY: Favorite weekend meal to cook or enjoy? I enjoy all the food I don’t have to cook😄 I love breakfast and brunch so if I can start the weekend with those it’s ideal.

CS/Q: Temp has been the exact same number for the past 3 days. Definitely wondering if my thermometer is working right at this point.

    *Edited to fix annoying autocorrects

  • @keikilove snowing in Hawaii?! I didn’t even know that happened. Is it high in the mountains only?
  • @sienna221 Yep, there is snow on several of the mountains/volcanoes across the islands this week. It’s crazy to know the cold front that’s blowing across the continent has made its way this far west.

     Month/Cycle: actually “trying” 2/2

    CD/DPO: 19/6

    Timing: -5,-3,-1, O

    Typical LP length: 11-13

Testing: is tomorrow too early to test? AF is due Friday... I’m thinking it is too early to test but I want to have a margarita tomorrow for super bowl so I want to take precautions

R/R: tomorrow is Super Bowl aka my favorite day of the year next to Christmas lol however I have to go in to the office tomorrow so I will miss the first half

GTKY: probably making Buffalo dip for Super bowl!
  • @sienna221 yay so happy to see you here! I get it about being annoyed that you missed a day but you still got in so many! Much more than we did -- we have to work on that! I find our very different CB digital experiences so funny! Anyways, enjoy watching the superbowl! I'll be watching the commercials to see if there is anything work analyzing with my students.

@keiklove I hope it warmed up a bit! I could really benefit from getting back into yoga. Workout habits went totally out the window this week. Also 100% with you on enjoying any meal I don't have to cook.. cooking is my least favorite! ha

@callmesophie0120 yum to the buffalo dip!

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD/DPO: 31/9

    Timing: -3, -1

    Typical LP length: 12-13

    Testing: 13 dpo

R/R: It's been a busy day! Cleaned a little this morning, finished giving feedback on my students' outlines, and now I'm working on a coding project for my advisor. Lots of productivity today! Yesterday was my mom's birthday so we'll head down tomorrow to have some socially distanced cake with her but it's going to snow quite a bit so I think it will have to be breakfast cake! Whatever, I'm down for cake at any time haha.

Also DH and I watched Bombshell last night -- we are always late to the party on great movies like these, but if you haven't seen it, highly recommend! It's free if you have Amazon Prime.

GTKY: Favorite weekend meal to cook or enjoy? Ok I really don't like cooking, but I do enjoy having soup or chili on the weekends especially in the winter just because it's an easy go-to. Chili even better since I can just dump all of the ingredients in the crock pot!

    CS/Q:

  • @callmesophie0120 I would think it’s too early to test. I feel like the earliest I’ve heard of people seeing BFPs is 9dpo. But if it makes you feel better about having a margarita, do it for the peace of mind! But just don’t be discouraged if it is a BFN because it is still early.
  • Month/Cycle: 8/9

    CD/DPO: 19/3

    Timing: -3, -2, -1

    Typical LP length: 12 days

    Testing: Valentine’s Day

R/R: It’s been in the -40s overnight with the windchill. It didn’t even get above 0 for the high today. It’s awful. But I haven’t left my house because of it, so that’s been really nice.

GTKY: Favorite weekend meal to cook or enjoy? I don’t enjoy cooking in weekends. 🙈 If I do, it’s something easy like soup (chili or zupa Toscana).
