Re board organization: I agree that I love an organized board. I think for now we don’t need all of the posts since there are so few people, then as it grows we can add more.
DH accepted an invitation to dinner at my parents on our behalf and I don't want to go. I feel like a petulant, whiny child. I know they'll be watching if I have a glass of wine or not, especially since I didn't have one the last time we were over. I just want to go home, take off my bra, and cuddle my puppy!
@cait32 the idea of team green is awesome to me but I’ve never done it! And I definitely don’t want to this time as it’s our last, so the moment I know the gender I’m cleaning out what we don’t need and getting rid of it 🤣
My son is at preschool and daughter is sleeping. So I have some time to myself and I should be taping a room upstairs that I’m painting tonight. But I’m just sitting here eating a snack and looking at my phone (there’s a book in my lap but so far I’ve only read one sentence...). My son hasn’t been to in person prek since before Halloween so I am just craving this alone time to do nothing so badly!!
I'm team find out as soon as possible, which will be at the end of March with the NIPT. If I had one of each, I would want to be team green because that seems really exciting, but I'm also pretty controlling, so I would probably breakdown and demand to know by the anatomy scan.
DS doesn't even know I'm pregnant yet, and he's already talking about his baby brother. If he and the Chinese gender predictor are correct, I will be team blue. Logically, I know the Chinese gender predictor is bogus, but it's been correct 2 out of 2 times for me so far.
@cait32 I can’t even imagine being team green. I’m going to have to have genetic testing with either CVS or amnio, so I’ll be finding out then either way.
Looking at the possible threads to start today and I was going to do a “first time mom” check in, but I think that is just me haha
I’ve been feeling so, so nauseous these last few days, it’s hard to do anything. I feel bad for just laying around but decided to treat myself and kids to Jamba Juice and a Popeyes Chicken sandwich to get out of the house but it just made me feel worse. To top it off my high schooler is having volleyball try outs today which always gets my nerves going, and my youngest has her first day of in person kinder on Thursday. My mama nerves can’t take all this! I guess it’s a good sign that I’m so nauseous, my boobs are soooo big and I can’t suck in my tummy without feeling very uncomfortable, but I’m still so nervous about another MC. I feel horrible that anyone has to go through these uncertainty weeks that feel like they never end.
My first pregnancy was an oopsie and I didn’t find out until I was around 9 weeks so I am really struggling with finding out so early (although this time around we were trying so I was eager to find out). This waiting game during the early days/weeks is miserable.
I waited until my anatomy scan with DS but this time I’m probably going to do the test early to find out. My SO and I both are hoping for a girl but obviously a healthy baby is what matters and we would be ecstatic with another boy. If we had one of each I would probably go for team green but this time I am too controlling to wait
