Re: WTO Weekend 1/30-1/31
Month/Cycle: 8/7
CD: 24
WAYDTGKU: bbt, opk
R/R: Thankful it’s the weekend. I was going to write that I don’t have much going on, but a friend said to me the other day that when she asks what I’m doing this weekend, she knows I’m not doing anything too exciting during the pandemic, so she’s asking what I’m watching, eating, cooking, reading etc. Love that. So I’m going to be watching college basketball, listening to a new bravo podcast I just discovered, and working on grad school stuff. Not exciting but it will be busy. Happy weekend all!
CS/Q: another big ol’ spike today that I just know is too good to be true. But maybe, I didn’t sleep with the heat on last night at least! TD did not adjust yesterday’s temp so perhaps these are all good signs for me.
Edited for typo
@fameonmain2 enjoy your weekend! what's bee bravo?
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 31
WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opk, cinnamon supplements
R/R: Day 2 of a 3-day weekend! We're heading out to the thrift store to see if we can find a nice desk today. If we don't, then I'll just deal with our existing desk for school but it's a little too small, so I'm hoping we do find one.Other than that, pretty much homework and mask-making all weekend.
CS/Q: I'm just hanging out here, pretty sure based on temps that we missed O, which I was very depressed about earlier this week. But having some cramps today and temp plummetted, which is usually a sign of CD1 impending, and I'm actually kind of happy about it because that would make this my shortest cycle since mid-2019. Maybe it's a fluke, maybe the cinnamon supplements are working, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a 30ish day cycle on cinnamon instead of my usual 40+ day cycle.
@fameonmain2 i love that question of what are you watching/baking/etc. i certainly have a few northern friends that i can use that on vs what are you doing. Enjoy your day!
@fantasyflyte i hope you find a desk!
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: PNO, HIO, cm and opks
R/R: I’m working this weekend and have a lot going to get ready before a corporate visit on Tuesday. I’m hoping it’s slow-ish so i can get stuff done.
CS/Q: none at moment. Looking to start HIO since O was on CD 13 last month. Super early and i do not want to miss first few days of FW.
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: Clomid, Follistim, Menopur in prep for egg retrieval
R/R: Today's my birthday! I'm hella old! But it started off great - I got to sleep in, got breakfast in bed, and met up with some friends at a nearby school so the kids could ride their bikes. That's the first time we've "hung out" with anyone since maybe last March. We've been so isolated for that long, and since we were distanced outside, it felt ok. Kinda excited to keep doing that, although I really need to hunker down and avoid Covid before the procedure. Getting takeaway for dinner (yay no cooking!), and that's about it. Maybe watch some Band of Brothers later
CS/Q: none right now. If anything, I have questions about side effects regarding the drugs (currently I'm just tired), but since everyone reacts so differently, it's probably worthless to ask, haha.
@fantasyflyte yay for a 20 day cycle and GL this cycle with your timing! And glad you found a keyboard and setup to make it work!
@fameonmain2 Ooh I like your friend's idea too! I always feel awkward when I ask "how are you?" because nobody is good right now. But people usually have great Netflix recommendations!
@And846 hope your visit goes smoothly on Tuesday!
@Lisa3379 Yay for outside time and takeout food!
Month/Cycle: 13/13
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: prenatals, CoQ10, DHEA, and Clomid with IUI planned for this cycle.
R/R: You guys, I'm totally pooped. Totally self-inflicted as I've been picking up a ton of time at vaccine clinics. Got home tonight and DH was already asleep on the couch. *eyeroll* Was looking forward to hanging out with him and snuggling on the couch but I guess he's done for the night! Also CD1 came at least 3 days early so it took me totally by surprise and that's probably adding to my tiredness. Don't know what happened there, but thinking getting my second covid vaccine dose right before ovulation was probably the culprit of a wonky cycle. I'm happy I didn't stress too much this month about testing. At least now I can start my Clomid 3 days sooner and hopefully the cycle will be shorter since Clomid should make me ovulate well before my usual day 19/20. Let's get this show on the road!
CS/Q: no questions
@Lisa3379 Happy birthday weekend! 🥳 🎂 🎈
@quiltandknit Hope you get some rest and actually feel refreshed some time soon! Hooray for getting the show on the road!

WAYDTGKU: Oh, so many things...
R/R: Rave: Finally feeling better after feeling ill all week. Going to organize my closet & do finances today. Rant: Was supposed to have a frozen embryo transfer this coming week but it got cancelled so we were back to trying naturally the last 2 days. I guess I should rave that at least we got the news in time to catch ovulation. (Another rant is that MH had another man-trum today about nothing, so we will definitely NOT be squeezing in any BD on O day today😤)
CS/Q: Temps were crazy high due to the heat being on in the hotel room near the doctor’s office where the FET was supposed to happen. Today they look normal. I had to change FertilityFriend’s “ovulation detector” option to “Research” instead of “Advanced” because the weird temps were not going to show ovulation in the “Advanced” detector until a few days from now, which is wrong based on the OPK strips and the U/S at doctor’s office.
*Edited to fix bizarre spacing issues
Anyway, yes, the doctor is having me come in earlier next month to check my lining. She has a couple of tricks she uses to thicken the lining, such as PRP (platelet-rich-plasma) along with estradiol supplementation in advance of ovulation. So hoping for either 1) natural success this cycle or 2) good early intervention next cycle. Thanks for asking.☺️
