R/R: So happy it's the weekend! Time to relax. I really need to do some house cleaning this weekend though since MH and I are heading up to Lake Tahoe next weekend and it's so nice coming back to a clean house!

In other news, I'm thinking about next steps if this cycle doesn't work (my therapist allows me to think 1-2 steps ahead, but no more). Given our unfortunate experience with our clinic this past week, we're definitely changing clinics, but TBD where and what our next treatment will be.

CS/Q: Oura temps are weird... just above the baseline. But I've definitely O'ed.

@acleverusername coming home to a clean house is always such a relief. Good luck on finding a new clinic but hopefully you won’t need to🤞🏻

R/R: DH and I went to a farmers market yesterday for our produce and I really enjoyed it so will definitely be going back. We just need to find a butchers now. The farmers market has a meat guy there too and his beef is free range so we’re happy to get our beef there but his chicken isn’t so there’s no difference than getting it at the supermarket. There’s a butchers near us that does local farmers and the chickens are free range but they’re SO expensive (~$8 per breast) so that’s a no from us lol

CS/Q: temp dropped today below the cover line and I started spotting this morning so I’ll be over in WTO either later today or tomorrow! Yay!!

R/R: We are in the 12-18" range for the coming snow storm. I'm so annoyed because on Tuesday I have a cardiologist appt for which I have been waiting since November! They already rescheduled me once and I had to wait an additional 3 weeks!

CS/Q: What is a "luteal line"? Never seen this before!

@demimondaine I know! I get they’re free range and all but come on! There’s a much more affordable butchers near my in laws which we will go to once we’re allowed to travel again. They only live about 45 minutes away but you can get fined big time for non essential travel that’s further than I think it’s 7 miles from your residence. Ugh, sorry about the impending snow storm! Hoping they don’t reschedule you again 🤞🏻Never heard of a luteal line. Where did you see this?

@jackie_dunny that’s exorbitant pricing for chicken! Are the beef prices at the market decent at least? MH and I tried a farm delivery service last year and we cancelled after 1 delivery: it was expensive and they delivered a hodge podge of stuff: like 1 beef steak and 1 pork chop. How am I supposed to make dinner with that?

@demimondaine is the cardiology appointment routine or something that you need looking at ASAP? I hope it won’t get cancelled because of all that snow! And yes, if this cycle isn’t successful, we’ll be going to another clinic. But we just don’t know if we should continue IUIs or switch to IVF. We will likely go out of state for IVF since it’s about 30% cheaper in Arizona (and we have a place to stay there.) If we try one more IUI, then we’ll go with a local doctor (The Egg Whisperer) and we have that consult on Wed coming up.

@acleverusername yeah the prices for everything at the market was great! And I’m pretty sure the other meats at the butchers (not the butcher from the market, a different one) have decent pricing. It’s just the chicken. The beef from the market butcher was £10 for 2kg (~$12 for 4.5lbs) so it’ll last us a while

@acleverusername The appt is sort of in between - I've had all this shortness of breath and inability to exercise since I had.cpvid back in April. Specialists keep tossing me back and forth. I know at this point that I have long covid but some people do go on to have heart problems so I do want to be seen in person for the first time! My version of covid was all shortness of breath and tachycardia.

I hope your consult brings you some.clarity - big decision!
