  • Month/Cycle: 3/4

    CD: 3

    WAYDTGKU: temping, opk

R/R: Slept badly last night and just want to curl up and sleep.  Hope I can feel more alert soon since work won’t wait!

    **TW** TTC History
    TTC#3 since Nov 2020 at ages 35 & 39
    TTC#1 - 2 IVF cycles, 4 transfers, 2 miscarriages (LC age 4)
TTC#2 - a very welcome surprise without intervention (LC age 2)

  • @dobbysfavoritesock Not feeling rested is the worst! Hope you can find some time in the day to rest a little.

    Month/Cycle: 8/7

    CD: 21

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs

R/R: I have been super off lately - pandemic, work, ttc and just blah. Anyways, trying to get out of my head and institute some habits that will keep me a bit more focused and just overall increase my wellbeing. WFH Wednesday and it snowed last night -- it's not a lot of snow but it is just so pretty outside of my window, everything is covered in a thin blanket of white. Focusing on that today.

CS/Q: solid smiley from CB digital! I had a huge temp spike overnight but I am sure TD will adjust it tomorrow. Have to make sure we HIO today and tomorrow. Will attach chart later.

  • @dobbysfavoritesock i hope the day goes quickly for you!

@fameonmain2 looks like we may be headed to the TWW together soon! Enjoy your WFH day!

    Month/Cycle: 26/28

    CD: 17

    WAYDTGKU: OPKs, Tracking CM

R/R: I had a dark OPK last night and an almost positive this morning - we are doing straight EOD so it doesn’t make much of a difference but I like to know when I can test/expect AF. Glad things are moving along! I also had some random brown spotting yesterday that I guess must have been ovulation spotting? I’ve never had that before so of course I googled it thinking that I’m probably releasing a nice big juicy egg that’s jiggling things loose in there which could only mean I’ll finally get KU but Google let me down.

    Rude!

    CS/Q:

  • @dobbysfavoritesock you and me both! I woke up this morning wanting to stay in bed still feeling tired so I must have slept poorly. Bleh

@fameonmain2 Hope the habits help bring you back to feeling "on". My company wants us to start slowly going back into the office and while yeah, at some point we'll get back into that routine, but I don't want to lol. It's so hard to try to make things feel normal. I wish we had a gotten a thin layer of snow :D we know the snow storm is bad when we get drifts in the driveway and up by our front door. Thankfully our snow was dry so clearing our driveway wasn't a hour long endeavor like it is with wet snow.

    Month/Cycle: 43/3 AL

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: temping, OPKs, GF and DF diet, supplements

R/R: you guys, my coworker *facepalm*. Let's just say thank god we don't work in an environment where deadlines are HARD deadlines. In other news, our senate is apparently voting on ending the state-wide mask mandate?? Actually, even if they vote to remove it, most businesses will likely keep the requirement because they're HQed in some other state that does require it. Well... here's to staying away from people some more. Cheers!

CS/Q: boo my temp jumped back up this morning. What the heck with it being so jagged. Around this time last cycle my temps got more consistent so hopefully that happens again.

  • @bows22 woohoo! I hate when Google gives me the opposite answer of what I was hoping for  :D

@inthewoods23 ugh, I do not envy that much snow! DH usually takes care of it, but I'm the one who has to drive far in it, so I'm happy that it wasn't a lot but even happier I didn't have to leave the house today. Also, seriously state senate? I don't think my state would consider that yet, but they have been rolling back some of the curfew/capacity restrictions. But I hardly pay attention to those because 1) schools are magical places where those kinds of rules don't apply and 2) we're not going anywhere anyways so it doesn't matter that much to me.

@dobbysfavoritesock bad sleep is the worst! Sorry!
@fameonmain2 yay for solid smiley! Always so nice to finally see that.
@bows22 glad you also got the positive OPK!
@inthewoods23 it’s going to be so weird when people have to go back in offices! Hopefully we can hold that off for as long as possible. Haha.

    Month/Cycle: 7/1AL

    WAYDTGKU: OPKs
R/R: Yesterday I got out of my car for an in person quick meeting. Went walking down the street not thinking. Two blocks later I realize I’m not wearing my mask. Whoops! Luckily it wasn’t crowded so I didn’t really pass anyone. Funny how we know feel so naked and vulnerable without something that a year ago we never would have crossed our mind to wear.
    CS/Q: No questions.

*Edited for spacing...again. But it didn’t work so I gave up. Sorry all  🤦‍♀️*
  • @bows22 yay, finally!

@fameonmain2 same here, snow everywhere! Wasn't quite the storm everyone was expecting and for that I am grateful.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD: 5

    WAYDTGKU: HIO (SMEP), OPKs, BBT

R/R: Rant: WFH and I have a quiet house today to actually get some work done! Cat is at the vet getting dental work done so a little nervous about that, but all should be fine.

    CS/Q: None.

WAYDTGKU: bbt, opks, fertility appt with ob today

R/R: I have my fertility appt later today with my ob that I’m nervous for. Dh and I talked last night about what our next steps could be, and I think we’re both on the same page for the most part. Dh is very eager to have a thb, but apprehensive of getting ourselves in debt, or just stressing and changing our lives for it. I’m thankful he’s supportive, I’m just kind of stressed about it. 😅 Anyway, hope you guys have a good day.

CS/Q: Looking pitiful because I slept through my alarm yesterday.

@dobbysfavoritesock hope you sleep better tonight!

@fameonmain2 hope you feel better soon! Jealous of the snow!

@bows22 damn google. Hopefully it’s not serious. I did read recently that ovulation spotting is common for people with polyps and fibroids too, so maybe it’s lingering. I always ovulate pretty early in my cycles so if I had it I would probably think it was from AF.

@inthewoods23 that’s ridiculous! It’s too soon! Gl with the coworker! 😬

@sienna221 omg I know! I did that recently at work and felt like I was going to be in trouble for it!

  • @sienna221 I know, it's so strange! I actually went into the convenience store attached to the gas station once without a mask on and didn't realize it until I got to the register -- I was so embarrassed and just apologizing profusely while pulling my jacket up over my mouth. Absolute mess. I also find myself watching old episodes of TV shows and thinking "you should have a mask on" lol. Glad you realized before you got into a building!

@misspricklepants hope you get lots of work done in your quiet house and that the dental work is not too traumatizing for kitty!

@photographerwife thumbs up for your supportive DH. I hope all goes well with your OB - let us know how it goes! Hopefully you get some clear next steps that won't be too much of a hardship financially. Sending good thoughts your way!
  • @fameonmain2 yeah.... like... I'm not sure what they're reasoning is behind it (didn't read the article I saw) trying to remove the mandate. Considering the big spike in cases, this is just the worst time to do this. Yay government *eye roll*

@sienna221 I told my boss if I had to I'd be fine going in once a week and mentioned my feelings on that may change depending on the circumstances/situation. Aka if I get KU was what I mostly meant without saying it ha. Also DH is the advisor for our high school's robotics program so he's in contact with a number of kids. So far there's been no scares from those meetings, but should he be in close contact with a covid positive I'd stay out of the office to be safe. I forgot to put my mask on once going into the grocery store. Like I had already grabbed a cart and walked into the produce area before realizing so I had to put the cart back and grab my mask from my car. Whoops lol.

@misspricklepants hope everything goes well at the vet!

    @photographerwife GL at your appointment!

  • @inthewoods23 I would love to know how much your coworker really works now that he’s at home. He’s probably going to resist going back into the office for as long as possible.

@sienna221 I went through the Starbucks drive thru yesterday and couldn’t remember after if I put my mask on and was so stressed about it. It really is crazy to think how different our lives were even a year ago.

    @m@misspricklepants enjoy your quiet house!

@p@photographerwife I saw the polyp thing too, but it’s weird that I never had it happen when I for sure had a polyp (or maybe not for sure, never got an answer as to whether it was a polyp or just a thickening. Or what the difference is haha). I’m hoping it’s just a one off weird thing. It’s gone now and the OPK I just took is very positive or I probably would have thought it was AF too! Good luck at your OB appointment!
  • @bows22 he wasn't very productive in the office to begin with. It's probably about the same, maybe slightly worse but that's hard to judge when our responsibilities have expanded so much since WFH started. I basically have to restrain myself from responding to everything because I'm so much faster at responding and actually keep on top of my work (most of the time). Him... not so much. He was supposed to have a couple documents completed last Friday so that's past due now. Yesterday our boss was asking him how much time he needs to complete them (actual hours) and he didn't have an answer like he was literally silent for the longest time after being asked. I just don't get it. Can he not estimate in any capacity how many hours he may need on something? I typically will say something like "if I have no distractions and don't answer any calls or emails, I can probably get it completed in an afternoon". And since he looks like he's absent from our email inbox the majority of the day, that would lead me to believe he's working on his individual stuff (like these documents) but in a meeting he'll say things like "I haven't had a chance to get to that today". So what is he even doing? I think you are totally right that he's not actually doing a lot of work. It's not even that he's slow at putting these things together, he's just not working.

  • @dobbysfavoritesock sorry for the bad night of sleep, I hope tonight's is better!

@fameonmain2 I feel you, it's been a weird month. Here's hoping February feels more normal. And yay smiley!

@bows22 yay for a dark OPK!

@inthewoods23 it's frustrating to see people acting like the pandemic is over just because vaccines have started to roll out. Just about every day sets a new record for cases but hey, just ignore that I guess!

@sienna221 at least you did end up remembering the mask!

    @misspricklepants enjoy the quiet day!

    @photographerwife I hope the appointment goes/went well!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD: 28

WAYDTGKU: opks, cm, bbt, cinnamon supplements

R/R: school started this week. I'm glad to be back in a routine, I operate so much better in life with some structure.

CS/Q: beginning to worry that I ovulated early and missed it because of my wonky/sporadic temperatures this month (wonky because they've been consistently higher this month than last - my early cycle temps were similar to last cycle's post-O ones). I guess I'll keep OPKing but I feel frustrated, especially because life's very busy right now with the semester starting and everything, and having a long cycle means I feel extra disappointed/irritated at the thought of missing O because if we don't hit it this month, it'll be March before I O again.

  • @dobbysfavoritesock Ugh, that’s the worst. Hope your workday flies by so you can get some rest.
@fameonmain2 How nice that you get to WFH the day after some snow! Glad you’re enjoying the beauty of it. Like you, I’ve been “off” this whole month. Ready to shake it off and get in a better mindset for February.
@bows22 Sounds like you’ve had great timing. I laughed at your comment of google being “Rude!” 😄 Indeed. FX the spotting means getting KU is imminent!
@inthewoods23 As others have said, WTH? It’s way too soon to go “back to normal” and stop wearing masks. I hope you get to stay home & be safe for awhile longer!
@sienna221 Yes to the missing mask feeling weird. I’ve forgotten mine like that a couple times & it is a strange sensation.//The spacing on this site is so wacky, there doesn’t seem to be rhyme or reason as to why it goes wonky with some replies.
@misspricklepants Hope your WFH day has continued to be lovely! And that kitty’s teeth are fine.
@photographerwife Good luck with the appointment today! Glad that you & YH are on the same page about things.

    Month/Cycle: 32/?

WAYDTGKU: Feels like the entire pharmacy lately

R/R: Rant: I had a *very early* morning meeting, & now it looks like the company wants to keep that time slot in place. Yuck. Rave: DH cooked dinner last night AND cleaned up the kitchen.

CS/Q: Today’s temp is off due to waking up 3 hours earlier than normal for that meeting.

@keikilove AND cleaned up the kitchen?! Tell me your secrets.

@fantasyflyte I hear what you're saying about a routine -- I crave it whenever I'm off work in the summer. Hopefully you didn't miss O. FX you get a positive OPK soon!

    ETA forgotten tag!
  • @fameonmain2 Ha! I wish there was a better secret than this: I had a treatment yesterday that makes me feel really sick afterward, so he did this kind gesture to take care of me.💗 Sympathy cleaning😄
  • @keikilove Aw, that is too sweet. DH did get me Wendy's last night so I have no right to be complaining.

P.S. guess what ad is right above your reply...
  • @fameonmain2 Well, that was pretty sweet of YH too. :)  And thankfully I am not seeing the ad on my end, hahaha.
  • @inthewoods23 he’s a piece of work for sure. I’m not surprised he wouldn’t answer a simple question about how long it will take to get something done, he doesn’t want to have to commit to anything.

@fantasyflyte it does seem like you ovulated based on temps. But if you did ovulate on CD 18ish at least you will be starting a new cycle earlier vs later

@keikilove is the meeting so early for you because of time zone differences? Yikes!

  • @fantasyflyte Oops! I missed your check-in earlier. FX you either didn’t ovulate yet, or like Bows said, that if you did O already that your next cycle will start that much sooner. Glad you feel good about being back in a routine!

@bows22 Yes, the meeting time is due to time zones. Most of the team is East Coast so majority rules on convenience. I’m just annoyed because last year the meetings were at an ungodly hour my time, and my manager said that wouldn’t happen again. Well....
  • @keikilove I feel like we are so self-centered here about time. I barely even remember there are other time zones. I hope that if I do run into a situation where there are people with a significant difference in time that I remember to be respectful of that!
  • @bows22 That’s so sweet of you. Yeah, last year the meetings were at 3 a.m. my time, and now the only options we were given are equally early/middle of the night my time. When the time changes in spring those times will become even closer to midnight my time since we don’t push our clocks forward. It sucks.
  • *lurking from TWW*

@keikilove It’s just hit me that you and I will never interact at a normal time together because there’s 10 hours between us 😂 we’re both 5 hour difference from the east coast!
