Extra outie bellybutton?? Anyone else?

My LO is 5 days old. I’m curious if anyone else’s’ baby was born with a super outie extra amount of skin on their little belly button and it “went away” or looked normal as they got older? I did ask the ped in the hospital and he said it would shrivel as she grew and after the cord fell off but it seems like a lot of extra?

    I would trust the doc. The stump is still attached - you have no idea what it will look like once it’s healed up.
