My children talk to me so. much. every. single. day. and my default answer is usually "wow cool," or "oh cool." I realized recently that I now say one of those phrases without even realizing I'm saying it or without hearing what they say, and sometimes I have to be like "wait, what?" Because I don't want to "oh cool" them if they're telling me they're about to punch the other one.
FFFC: Sometimes I miss the days when my children couldn't talk.
My FFFC, I preheated the oven and started cooking a frozen pizza for the boys' lunch before lunch so it would be ready when I clocked out at 123o, and I'd have more time to chill.
Whoa... I just realized, I can say that...the boys. I have way too many kids now.
FFFC part 2...i almost cried when the school emailed me and said my 8yo can't return until at least Feb, possibly (probably) longer. He was supposed to go back Jan 4
DH went to pick up lunch and I asked if DS could go in front of him because I knew he’d want to go and then DH couldn’t say no. Now I’m sitting in peace on the couch. It’s a beautiful day and I have the slider open listening to the wind chimes. This is bliss.
I ordered a can of wine to be delivered with our groceries, so I can have a small glass tonight (day 1 of potty training my toddler) without feeling guilty for dumping an entire bottle.
