Officially moving to Private Bump Group - Please Read!

Compiling everyone's thoughts here from our previous discussions in one easy-to-find place. We would love to continue our group dynamic in a more private setting that the whole world does not have access to. We figured switching to one of the Bump’s private groups is a great way for us to begin our transition. We will also discuss future plans which may involve Facebook or Reddit (among others) leading up to or after we all have our little kiddos.

You can search for the May 2021 Moms group within the Bump (for now it is private but still searchable), or try this link which may or may not work:

You will need to be approved by someone who is temporarily acting as an admin. The goal of this private group is for the small group of us who have been participating regularly to be able to open up more with one another. That being said, please ask yourself if you have been a contributing member of this group, participated in weekly check-ins and threads, etc.

We hope to have everyone over to the group on Monday and then will proceed with our normal weekly check-ins and threads there (at least for the time being and we will make a group decision about structure moving forward). We will also open up discussion for and vote on admins at this time. Lastly, we will also set up a new intro thread that may feel more secure since it is a private board as opposed to a public forum that anyone can view.

If i missed anything, please feel free to add! I just figured it would be good to have a fresh post with this info for anyone who may have missed.

Here is a quick guide for finding it if you are on a mobile app and for some reason the link doesn’t work:

Go to community,
scroll down to ‘groups’
click it - it has ‘new groups’ listed.

Click May 2021 Moms
then ‘join group’ and write a short message for approval

@liz101015 try leaving the page completely and going back--it should load 2 discussion threads!

Does anyone know is there is a way to pin or star this group so it's easier to get to?

@spartan4life i assume you mean on mobile? in which case, i have not figured that out in the past 12 hours

but i found it just as quick to get to as the BMB just an extra quick scroll on that page.
i have it bookmarked on my laptop which is convenient

@asf0613 yeah, mobile...it did come up now in "My Groups" so that's easier now! But not on the main community page, which is fine just one more click ☺️
