Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Thursday 1/14

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Re: TWW Thursday 1/14

  • Month/Cycle: 13/1 AL #2

    CD/DPO: 19/2 (I think)

    Timing: -1,-2,-3

    Typical LP length: 13 days

    Testing: not unless I’m late

R/R: Discussion in another thread yesterday inspired me to finally sign up for a Botox course. I had been meaning to do this because I already have some training in this, I just haven’t been officially certified. I don’t think this is something I will do a lot of, but I wanted to do something fun with my continuing education allowance this year. Now I’m kinda looking forward to it!

CS/Q: My temp went down some today, but not below what I anticipate will be the cover line. It makes me somewhat less confident that I actually ovulated. I will wait and see what it is tomorrow, but I really hope it is back up.

  • @fitzfizz I hope your temp tomorrow can help you determine for sure that you ovulated. The wondering is so aggravating. The Botox course sounds interesting! (What thread were y’all discussing this in yesterday?) I’ve been wanting to get Botox for years but have avoided it while TTC.

    Month/Cycle: 32/??

    CD/DPO: 28/9

    Timing: -5, -2

    Typical LP length: 13

    Testing: bfn this morning

R/R: Rant: Still in a funky mood. This has not been a good week. Rave: It’s cool today with sunshine, so I’m going to take a walk to get my mind right before hunkering down to work .

CS/Q: Big temp drop despite doing PIO. No symptoms despite also taking estradiol, pretty dang sure I’m out this cycle.

  • Where the heck is everybody today?

@fitzfizz I'm not certain, but I think a drop shortly after O is one of those patterns that FF mentions. Hope it pops back up!

@keikilove boo being out this cycle! Sucks.

    Month/Cycle: 43/2 AL

    CD/DPO: 24/8

    Timing: -4, -3, -1, 0

    Typical LP length: 13 days

Testing: Saturday, shit that's 2 days from now!

R/R: I'm so over working and we've only been back for 2 weeks haha. Sleeping has been weird lately. Legs are sweating every night and 2 nights ago I definitely had a dream I was hanging out with a Youtuber that lives across the pond in a country I've never been to :D This must be what happens when I watch 100 videos from the same person working on getting fully caught up on all their content for a week straight

CS/Q: temps are still trending upward. Thankfully my sweating doesn't seem to be causing an issue with my temps.

  • @inthewoods23 I've also been having some weird dreams! The other night DH and I drove into a tidal wave... can't remember the others, but just weird stuff. Clearly anxiety induced or something.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 21/7

    Timing: -2, -1, 0

    Typical LP length: Unsure

    Testing: Tomorrow... maybe? So impatient.

R/R: Rant: Furniture we bought in September is being delivered piecemeal. Just called today and wont have our full order until APRIL. Every time I call, it gets delayed by another month or two. Paid up-front in cash and was told everything would be delivered by November. I've been very understanding and everyone I've dealt with has been super nice, but DANG I want my stuff. I feel like at this point we've given the company an interest free loan!

    CS/Q: None.

  • @misspricklepants must be a TWW thing haha. And WTF on the furniture! I can't believe it's going to take over half a year to get everything. We're dealing with that with some LED panel lights we bought. We've gotten 3 of 4 packages and they've all come on different days. The first 2 came within a day or 2 of each other, then it was another week or something for the 3rd. Still waiting on the 4th. Ugh.

The electric company we're going to have do a panel upgrade told us up front when we scheduled the consult that they are 3-4 months out on completing projects. So it's going to be spring before they get to us. But of course with the pandemic everybody is deciding to do all sorts of home projects being home all the time!

  • @inthewoods23 100% haha... Yep, we're totally in the same "home improvement" boat. Luckily we have no deadlines so I guess it just is what it is!

  • @keikilove It had come up in TTCAL mainly related to migraines, it just reminded me that I had been meaning to schedule it. If anything the course should be interesting and something to break up the monotony. It is in person in April, but almost everyone there will be doctors and therefore hopefully mostly vaccinated. Also, I had heard that people who do this course get a ton of free samples of skincare stuff (part of signing up literally involved describing your skin type haha) and I love free samples!

@inthewoods23 I looked back through some previous cycles and it seems like I have done this before. I seem to have a slow rise in general, but I seem to be ovulating so I guess that’s just how it is for me. Interesting about the dream! I almost never have dreams that I remember, and when I do they are usually mundane or anxiety provoking, so I’m always intrigued to hear about people who have weird dreams.

@misspricklepants That would drive me nuts about the furniture, sorry you are having to deal with that frustration! Especially with furniture, since I am assuming you need it for practical reasons.
