I just noticed there's a checkbox under Specifics in FF to mark miscarriage for those cycles. And the weirdest f*cking thing happened when I marked it in that cycle - it gave me a pop up message that they updated my O date from CD16 to CD20! Meaning my timing had actually been -1 and -2! This was 2 days after my last +OPK. Which means my first BFP was actually 8dpo, not 12dpo.

WTF how does this happen that it changes my O date from that?

@inthewoods23 that’s so weird. FF can be weird though. I had to change from the advanced detector to the FAM detector for it to get my o day right on at least 2 cycles

@inthewoods23 I just started my chart, and it did the same for me, without the temps/crosshairs. I think it just realigns it to the middle - a real wtf!

ETA: From day 14 to day 20 for me

@inthewods23 That is bizarre. I have no explanation for you. I have used that "miscarriage" marker on my chart in the past but never noticed that it changed anything.

I have a big WTF but it discusses a lady bombarding me with her politics so please skip if not in the mood.

I was running errands and ran into an acquaintance that I know from community events (before the pandemic). She has been super nice in our few interactions in the past, and mostly normal, albeit a bit of an airy-fairy hippy-dippy type. (We have tons of those types where I live.)

She seemed happy to see me and we caught up for a couple minutes. As we were parting ways she stopped me and said, "I don't know where you stand politically, or if you know, but that huge land preservation property that Oprah owns here--supposedly to 'preserve the land'--actually has tons of underground tunnels leading to other islands. They use this to traffic kids to the airports for the sex trafficking trade in Asia.... I hope you're doing okay in these times. Like I said, I don't know where you stand politically, but it's really exciting the big things that are about to happen. I don't know if you follow Qanon at all? But yeah, JFK Junior faked his death twenty years ago and has been underground all this time. I know it sounds crazy! But he did this so he can avenge his father's death, because, you know, JFK was the first one to try to expose the corrupt government. That's why they had to assassinate him. So his son has been underground all this time working to expose all of this and it's just about to come out. Like any day now! And when it does, things are really going to turn around and there's going to be a lot of support for people like you who have a good heart and are trying to do good things in our community. You are going to get a lot of financial support for your efforts, hang in there!"

@keikilove wow, that’s a lot to take in while you’re running errands. I try to avoid most social interactions while out and about in my town to avoid that kind of interaction! I’ve found that the masks + a winter or baseball cap make me nearly unrecognizable 😂

And what is with people who think things are going to get immediately better with change? Like that shit takes time. There was one guy I knew in college who stated that racism was going to end in 10 years because all the old people would be dead by then.

That was sometime in 2011 or 12 so...*checks calendar*... we've only got 2 more years max to make that happen

@misspricklepants To your last comment I must reply “WTF!?” Canes is literally the best chicken ever and I will hear no argument!

I’m obviously partially joking, but I really do love Canes so much. I have to prevent myself from going there because I would eat waaaay to much. I don’t know that I would wait in a mile long line, but once things calm down you definitely need to go there. The sauce is the best, and dipping the toast in the sauce is my inner fat person paradise.

I feel strongly about this haha
