R/R: Nothing like bumping early and seeing your screen name over and over again on the boards page
It's Wednesday so it's teach from home day for me! I've been in a bit of a funk the last couple of days so hoping the unseasonably warm weather and home setting will help to turn that around. Nothing really exciting happening, but our state keeps announcing more vaccination plans which make me more hopeful for the coming weeks and months!!
CS/Q: fell asleep on the couch last night so no temp again today, now that AF is over I need to stop doing that ha
@fameonmain2 I hope the change of scenery gets you back on track! Will you have time to get outside at all today?

R/R: I always sleep terribly at the beginning of AF so I allowed myself to hit the snooze button a few more times this morning. I should have just set my alarm for later because I’m not sure how much 9 minute increments of sleep helps! But I don’t feel too bad. I forgot to mention yesterday, DH is getting his first dose of the vaccine next Friday! I’m like shouting it from the rooftops because I’m so excited. He’s on a medication that suppresses his immune system so it will just be so nice that he will have that protection once it takes effect. We are going to extra careful mode until then, no sense risking it now.

@fameonmain2 I’ve been in a funk too! Solidarity! I read once that the second half of January is the most depressing time of the year… and I can completely agree with that. That’s why I usually like to plan a trip sometime in Feb. It keeps my spirits up through this stupid long winter. Stupid covid. I hope you’re about to take some time for yourself and get out of your funk today!

CD: 1, was impatiently waiting for it to show up yesterday because of all the negative test… of course, in true TTC fashion, it showed up a day late.
WAYDTGKU: we’ll do every other day this cycle.
R/R: Having all the emotions about CD1. I was in a mood this weekend. I went to visit my parents, who my grandma lives with, and got into a fight with my grandma about politics. I repeated over and over again that I didn’t want to talk about it but she just kept going. I finally couldn’t take it any more and had to say something back. And of course what I said was the worst thing in the world, and according to her I’m “uneducated” and she feel sorry for me…. Great. Thanks grandma. Now she’s on FB posting all these memes (yes, my 90 year old grandma is on FB). Blah!

@LJMoon6 that makes a lot of sense! It's colder, post-holidays... We also always go on a trip in Feb. just b/c we are on school vacation at the same time (DH is a teacher, too). Still trying to figure out if we can do anything -- if we got the vaccine before then I would definitely plan some sort of road trip, but I don't think that will happen. Sorry about getting into a fight w/ your gma. Hope y'all can get past it relatively quickly... being in a fight with a family member is plain rough.

WAYDTGKU: Just ordered fresh OPK (my others expired in 2018, but seemed to work fine! I just want that easy@home app thing everyone has!), not sure if we will be trying this cycle anyway.
R/R: I haven't starting temping yet and will prob just do OPK if anything this month. I just got notice at work that I might have to make a trip out of town - that might screw up my timing anyway!
*TW* 4 years ago I was having trouble TTC and I made an appt with the ob/gyn that deals with IF, referred by my husband's urologist after everything came back fairly normal for him. I had to wait however long to get in, and I think my appt ended up being a couple of days after I got a BFP. I went anyway and he said "wow, this is my fastest work yet!" Then I changed groups for OB bc I hated his partner. Well now he moved to my current group, so I made an appt with him for Monday. It's much easier to get in now, too, because he's the "new" doctor! So I want to get in while the getting is good and see where to go from here.
CS/Q: *TW* I'm at the tail end of my CP, so I'm not sure if this was AF, or if I have another one coming? I started bleeding 7 days after I was originally supposed to. I guess we will see. I'm just using the fitbit app right now.
@bows22 what a relief for your DH! Hope his vaccine goes smoothly!
@LJMoon6 Ugh politics and family is so tough. I have certain family members I cannot engage at all with politics. Unfortunately the past few years have brought so much division. Makes me sad there is very little intelligent discourse or conversation anywhere!

R/R: Mini-rant. I have a yearly review with my boss (who I only see once in a while) end of next week. Today she sent everyone a whole bunch of data to look at with no explanation. I've only been in my job for a year, and I don't have much context for the data she sent, but it doesn't look like great news to me. Getting a little nervous about it. But thinking my approach should be to ask her for help in interpreting what she sent and helping me put it into context in this crazy year!
