@fitzfizz Glad you made it to the end of your workday, hope it wasn’t as tough as your other days have been recently. Just curious, is the Chartreuse on your list referring to the alcohol? I’ve never had it, curious what it tastes like.
@keikilove Haha yes, you caught me. Unwinding from the day with a glass of my favorite drink before I avoid hard liquor for (at least!) the next two weeks. The green one is the original, and I really like it but it is intense. It’s hard to really describe since nothing tastes like it. Very herbal and strong, I usually have it with some water so that you get the flavor more. If you like other herbal liqueurs (Benedictine, Galliano, etc) you may like it. There is also yellow, which I am currently drinking, which is less strong and more sweet.
As a semi-related note, I am a former bartender. This makes me sound like a lush, but honestly I just like tasting different things!
@fitzfizz Oh, that makes sense! Former bartender here too, I totally get it! I’m a sucker for a beautiful bottle or unique taste. You did a great job in the description: I’ve had Galliano and Benedictine so I get a sense of what you’re tasting. Enjoy your unwinding at the end of a long day.😊
Yes, I will post photos soon. I’m not even a pet person but he stole my heart immediately. I haven’t stopped to take photos because I’m too busy cuddling him.
