  Honestly. Working on a school, I swear there is at least 1 Madelyn, Maddie, Madeline in every class!  Though Ashlyn is not my favorite, I would go for it just to get away from the Maddie.

  I agree the Maddies are everywhere and it feels like a trend on the way out since so many in high school have that name.
  
  Ashlyn is trendy for my taste but I’d pick it over Madelyn.
