Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Thursday 1/7

  • Month/Cycle: 13/1 AL #2

    CD: 12

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, PNV

R/R: I don’t know how in the world I let my husband convince me that we could lay flooring in the room we are renovating ourselves. It is taking so much longer than I thought, and I have smashed two of my fingers with a rubber mallet so far. We only have about 1/3 of the flooring down. Luckily today is my late day at work, and I can use that as an excuse not to work on the floor. Silver lining I guess!

CS/Q: Temp was weirdly low this morning, which made me think I may ovulate early (I have frequently had a temp dip right before) but OPK still only at baseline.

  • @fitzfizz Bless you for doing the flooring! That is one thing I did NOT help with when we were renovating our house. Painting is much more my speed  B)

    Month/Cycle: 8/7

WAYDTGKU: nothing while AF is here...

R/R: Well, AF arrived this morning, 2 days earlier than expected. If my LP gets any shorter I'll be worried, but I'm just going to chalk it up to this past strange cycle. I don't know why I got my hopes up, I really didn't have much fertile CM to speak of, so I shouldn't have been expecting anything. Meh. I wallowed yesterday after my BFN so I'm going to try not to let myself do that today. I'm at work and have a bunch of students who seem to just be choosing to learn from home instead of coming in. I'm over zooming and teaching. I'm nearly over teaching at this point. Lot of rant and not much rave today :( I guess the only good thing is that there was no spotting like I usually have a couple of days before -- I had clear bleeding this morning. Leaves the guessing out of it

CS/Q: nothing to see except a strange temp spike that hopefully TD will adjust down tomorrow

  • @fitzfizz wow I'm impressed you guys are doing flooring!  I would be nervous to take them on, but I'm with @fameonmain2 I'd paint any day!

@fameonmain2 I can't imagine teaching from home.  Hope your day goes smoothly. How old are the kiddos you teach?

    Month/Cycle: 12/12

    CD:  7

WAYDTGKU: OPK, PNV, cycle charting, Coq10 and DHEA

R/R: Today is my day off and I'm taking it to chill and do very little at home!  Feeling lazy and just relaxing and enjoying.  Work has been crazy stressful so I'm recharging to go back tomorrow!

CS/Q: no chart to stalk!  And no questions, I'm just waiting for testing next week to make plans for next cycle.

  • @quiltandknit welcome! I teach high school. We're actually in hybrid right now so I only teach from home on Wednesdays, but I'm livestreaming from the classroom every day for the at home students. Enjoy your day off! Lazy days are the best.
  • @fitzfizz I hope the rest of the flooring goes smoother.

    @fameonmain2 I am sorry about CD1.

@quiltandknit Enjoy your relaxing day!  Sounds lovely.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    WAYDTGKU: temping and OPKs

R/R: I am really enjoying getting groceries delivered.  I think I may continue even after the pandemic is over.

    **TW** TTC History
    TTC#3 since Nov 2020 at ages 35 & 39
    TTC#1 - 2 IVF cycles, 4 transfers, 2 miscarriages (LC age 4)
TTC#2 - a very welcome surprise without intervention (LC age 2)

  • @fitzfizz Good luck with getting the flooring finished! I did most of our hardwood flooring (MH was away at work & I just wanted to get it done.) Ohmigawd, I was SO SORE for the 3 days following that big job. I don’t know how professional flooring people do it. I hope you have some days off to recuperate after that project.
@fameonmain2 Sorry for the BFN & for teaching feeling like a slog right now. I hope you’ll be able to pull out of the slump soon enough. (My friends who are still in the classroom are taking next year off. It’s just been too much & too many days feeling how you are feeling right now.) Hang in there!
@quiltandknit Welcome! Hope you get some clear answers from your testing workup!

    Month/Cycle: 32/IDK

    CD: 21

WAYDTGKU: Tons of vitamins, meds, and charting everything

R/R: Rave: I took yesterday morning off, then used the afternoon to run errands, then took the evening off too. I finally feel rested today.

CS/Q: This is the weirdest cycle I’ve had in a long time. Will likely get a temp spike and crosshairs tomorrow, at which point I will move over to WTO.

  • @dobbysfavoritesock I still haven’t tried grocery delivery, but I guess my hello fresh meals sort of count. I am getting so lazy with stores. I needed something from Best Buy and there’s one on my way home from work and I just couldn’t make myself get off the exit... so I just ordered it for delivery Saturday instead 🤷‍♀️

@keikilove I am envious of them! Teaching is not where I want to stay, but I’m sort of stuck right now while I’m still working on my PhD. Once I finish that I’ll have more options to get out, I hope. Taking a year off isn’t really financially possible for us :( sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday! I also did nothing last evening but do not feel rested today haha
  • @dobbysfavoritesock grocery delivery is awesome!  I never thought anything of it before the pandemic, but now I love being able to get what I need in a less people-y way!  And I find I spend less too because there's no impulse buying!

@keikilove glad you feel rested!  Sometimes we all need a day like that!
