R/R: Long rant, sorry! Work this week is turning into a giant mess. There was a news release this weekend that our system has COVID vaccines available to start vaccinating people over 70. While technically true, we have a few hundred doses and this happened so quickly that there was no schedule actually set up for patients to schedule vaccine appointments. This led to about 16,000 calls on Monday morning alone (I haven’t heard an update since then, but I’m sure it is much more), which completely overloaded the phone system and crashed the online scheduling system. Who could have possibly foreseen that thousands of old people desperate for a vaccine that could save their lives who are getting error messages trying to schedule online would lead to frustrated and repeated phone calls? Did we have anything set up to help with this overload of calls? Of course not! Now people are trying to work through the backlog of calls and messages trying to find the actual medical questions amidst the vaccine scheduling mess. Because everything is delayed, the after hours nurse line is getting a ton of calls with people needing things urgently that were not addressed during the day, and I am on call!
TL/DR: I got woken up 4 times in the middle of the night because of other people’s poor planning and now I am in a grumpy mood.
CS/Q: I have it stuck in my mind that my usual O day is CD16, but it has happened on CD14 twice so I guess we should actually start soon.
Month/Cycle: 43/2 AL

WAYDTGKU: Ridin' (if you get what I'm saying
), supplements, OPKs, temping, GF and DF diet
R/R: still saying boo to performance reviews. The career development stuff has been easy to fill in, but I always struggle with filling in the supporting details for why I rated myself what I did for the objectives and competencies. We just got these forms yesterday and our department head wants them turned in by Friday
Apparently HR was supposed to send these out before the end of the year! Does anyone honestly have an HR department that is actually on top of things?
CS/Q: no temp bump and surprisingly my OPK was STILL positive this morning. Around 6pm yesterday Premom had my OPK at 1.03 and this morning's was 1.02. I guess O is going to be today! Timing has been great though, so can't complain. (I'll work on getting my chart posted, probably at lunch)

@inthewoods23 Ridin’ 😄 Go ahead, girl! YH is lucky to have such an enthusiastic partner who is willing to take the reins. I don’t know how you do it after all this time trying. My version of “Ridin” is usually “Let’s get this over with” and lying there like a floppy fish. Hahahahahah! My poor hubby. Maybe that’s another FFFC for later this week.

R/R: Rave: We’ve cleaned up Christmas and life feels normal & organized again. That was a long holiday season!
CS/Q: Same one I posted in the Chart Stalk thread. Gonna hang out here till I get CHs.
All our Christmas stuff is packed away, except I noticed I left out a wooden board that says "meowy Christmas" hehe.
Also here's my chart for once!
