Wow it's quiet here...

Month/Cycle: 7/6

CD/DPO: 35/8

Timing: -3, -1

Typical LP length: 12-13

Testing: I am going to try to hold off until Friday.

R/R: We got news this morning at work that one of my co-workers died. She had cancer and had been out since the beginning of the school year. I was not very close with her, but it was still tough news to hear on the first day back after break. Other than that work is just crazy today with a brand new schedule and lots of students out...

CS/Q: I've never had such consistent DPO temps before... hoping it's a good sign.

R/R: rave — my new year is starting off really great with our landlord emailing us and offering to drop our rent by $200 a month! There’s been a mass exodus from the city (SF) since many have moved out of the core urban area / out of state with the ability to work from home so there’s been a negative price pressure on rental market. Still, I doubt that landlords everywhere are contacting their tenants and giving them discounts. I do love our landlord. Just need to work on getting him to relax the “no pets” rule.

Rant — back to work today after a 2 week break; I’m still in my jammies trying to postpone the inevitable. 😣 I usually work 10-6 though so I have another hour to get my sh*t together.

@acleverusername exciting news about the rent! My dad has a house in Phoenix and he said that they are booming with people moving from Cali to work from home with lower cost of living in AZ.

R/R: Back to normal and hoping to pack up Christmas this week. Slowly but surely. Hoping this January isn't 97 days long like usual. So far not feeling really confident for this cycle.

@krash_ LOL; I'm with you on hoping that Jan isn't as long. Good luck with the Christmas packing; also a goal for me this week since Christmas tree collection is on Fri.

@acleverusername that is awesome! I don't think I've ever heard of a landlord doing that with an existing tenant. Also jealous of you still being in your pjs when you posted

@krash_ with you on Jan. GL with the Christmas packing. I usually get that done before I come back to work but this year I feel like I need a little extra cheer.

Testing: I'm going to make myself wait until *at least* Wed of next week, probably until the weekend if I can manage?

R/R: rave: actually glad to be back at my job after the break? it's the first day of the semester and I'm not teaching at the moment so my quantity of Zoom meetings has gone WAY down and I mostly spent the day getting caught up on things I enjoyed working on. Guess it's a clear sign that I like my job!

CS/Q: I've been doing War of the Fertility Apps trying to settle on a tracker I like. I ditched Clue since it doesn't chart, but I like both Ovia and Kindara: Kindara's data entry is way cleaner and I like their chart, Ovia has the nice "X days until pregnancy test" info on the front page but the number of things you can track is kinda overwhelming. Annoyingly, both are also refusing to adjust their prediction of my PD even though it's screamingly obvious from the data (Kindara even lets you self-ID your PD but doesn't seem to be adjusting the data accordingly?) Anyone got a preference between these two? (I'm also going to check out Fertility Friend based on what I've seen here...)

@acleverusername I agree with @fameonmain2, I've NEVER heard of a landlord doing that with a current tenant, that's awesome!!

@redpanda5 What Fertility Friend lack in nice design, it makes up for extensiveness of functionality. I initially didn't want to use it because it's not as "pretty" as the other apps, but it is oh so feature-rich and customizable. If you can look past the 1990's user interface, that's the best one IMHO.

@acleverusername will for sure check it out then! (and since I regularly use embarrassingly-ancient software and code at work, a 1990's UI sounds downright lovely...)
